“Great place to stop for the night. Hosts were amazing. They moved us to a bigger site to accommodate our rig and trailer and even came to check that we got set up all right. Quiet even though it is near highway. Good wifi and cell service. We did not use pool or nice laundry facilities. Will definitely stay here again. We stayed in a 45’rv with a trailer and truck.”

“This campground was absolutely beautiful! The staff in the office were very customer/guest friendly, efficient, and very helpful. The campsites were large, and we didn't feel cramped or crowded by the sites next to us. Very quiet, peaceful, and we felt safe. The entire campground was well maintained. We loved every minute of our week spent there. We highly recommend this campground and will be back next year.”

“Owners are super nice and we love the large size lots. This is 2nd time we have been here for extended stays even though we work a hour away we rather stay here on the lake in a small quiet town. Campground is always kept clean and grass cut. Thank you Gene and Jess!!”

“"DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER" My wife was skeptical about staying here but was swiftly opening up to the idea while checking in with the new GM Stephanie, (a U.S Army Veteran like myself )was very warm and welcoming . The room was clean, very comfortable, and Inviting. Stephanie was also extremely accommodating. She went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable , we got to hotel super early and we were allowed to check in early at 10am, she doesn't l know how much stress she relieved by doing that. I know from personal experience that no other accommodations in the area would do that ! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to stay in Mathis, or just stopping through! The also have a RV park located in the back !”

“Came to town to work on local wind farm. Found this gem of a place in Mathis! Was her for about 3 months! Owners were always accommodating and the rooms were clean and spacious. Hotel is older but the owners have done a great job updating the place. All the staff was very nice and helpful. WiFi was good. Water was hot and had great pressure flow! Fridge and microwave worked great. Industrial ice machine was always plentiful. Convenient to anything you need and to highway. 45 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes from Lake Mathis! Good Chinese restaurant at location. Good Mexican restaurant nearby. Car wash across the street. Grocery store down the road. Great location convenience! Super quiet. Never had any issues. Even left equipment in back of truck with no issues. Felt very safe the entire time. Solid weekly rates and even got a discount from owners on pet fees! Greatly appreciated! And for all y’all who know extended stay, they cleaned the rooms EVERY day!!! That was huge! Above and beyond! So many good experiences here can’t list them all! But overall, this was an awesome find and anytime I will be in the Corpus Christi area I will gladly come back here!!! Love this quaint little place. Think so highly of the owners and am so very grateful for such a great experience with them!”

“Nice, clean hotel. Their deluxe king bedroom was nice and spacious. But what made my stay great was the service! Everyone was nice and helpful, but I want to give a special shoutout to Sohn at breakfast! He was so kind, gave a full rundown of everything available at breakfast when I arrived, helped me as I made my plate, and even walked with me to the elevator to push the buttons because my hands were full with my plate and beverage. His warm, joyful energy in the morning gave my day the perfect start!”
