“I feel obligated to give a 5 star rating to UTD. I graduated in 2015, BSME. They had great relationships with industry partners and an internship fair that helped me get my foot in the door at my current employer of 8 years now. The engineering senior design program was excellent with each team getting paired with a local company with a real problem to solve. Now for some critiques: a majority of my mechanical engineering classes were led by professors who were seemingly only interested in research and either loathed teaching or had no teaching skills. There was also no mat lab or engineering software integration with the classes with the exception of CAD design class. That was a huge shortcoming.”
