City Of Splendora Heritage Park

This is a wonderful park and community amenity. Well managed and clean family environment. Restrooms are clean, however they are frequently locked during week day open hours. Expect to bring folding chairs and tables as well as come early to retain a spot when hosting a weekend party here.
There are 3 large covered pavilions and a few covered picnic tables.
**Please be aware of fire ants**
Particularly by the red flower water feature on the far end of splash pad. While there are no noticeable ant mounds by the splash pad, my child recieved hundreds of ant bites after coming into contact with a floating baseball sized mound of fire ants on the pad.
Park managment addressed this concern immediately and I have returned since without any issue, but it is always worth inspecting for ants if your child is severely allergic.

Had my daughters birrhday there, its small but all of the kids LOVED it
