“We enjoyed our stay at Twin Canyon Ranch. The cabins are nice with all the creature comforts of home, the view is fantastic, the staff was extremely friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. There are 7 cabins which would make it ideal for large family groups wanting to enjoy time together but still have their own individual spaces. The pool and hot tub had easy access from all the cabins. It’s was also nice that it was located between Gradbury and Glen Rose so you had more options for things to see and do.”

“Living at Towne Square, on the lake, was truly amazing. The fact that it's just a block from the square and right next to the city beach adds so much to the experience. Waking up to the glistening water is absolutely breathtaking. It's a reminder to always appreciate the beauty around us, no matter how small.”

“We have stayed at the Oak House twice now, and once again the house and hosts exceeded our expectations! Our hosts went above and beyond to make the house accessible for my dad in his wheelchair which was such a relief for him and us! The house is beautifully decorated and so comfortable to stay in. Close to the square for shopping and dining and the donut place next door is fantastic for a quick breakfast. We visit Granbury often to see my dad and always try to stay here!”

Just a tremendous setting and very enjoyable and relaxing stay. I had the upstairs BoHo Room, and it is highly recommended. “The room was very clean, and the pool felt great. They had hot breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, but we didn't get to take part in that. When we checked out, we forgot a bag full of our own blankets. Once we realized we left it, I called, and they still had it. 2 blankets were missing. They were my boys' blankets from when he was at Cook's, so they had meaning to them. The gentlemen went in the back and found them for us! I was so thankful! I highly recommend this hotel!!”

“Granbury was the town chosen as the midway meeting point between Amarillo and Houston for the reunitement of long time love. The Blue Heron was chosen out of curiosity for the first Bed and Breakfast experience, no idea what to expect. You can expect to be welcomed by David or Melissa. We were welcomed by Melissa first when we dropped off one of our vehicles so we could tour the town in one car. When we returned to check in we were greeted by David. From the first introductions to them walking us out David and Melissa got the hospitality thing going on!! I personally felt like I was visiting family that let me stay in there home. They were conversational and interested in our reasons for being there. The place was clean, bed was comfortable, and there were little things throughout out that made the stay convenient for forgetful travelers like myself (phone charging station next to the bed). The breakfast was Excellent as well as the cookies!!! Thank you David and Melissa for help making this reconnection a great experience. I believe we will make this an annual visit at the least. - We didn't do much outside because of the extreme weather , so there is a lot more to enjoy - for the next review!!”

“The rooms and common areas were clean, and every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful. We stayed at this hotel for an event with a church group and they were very accommodating. One of the staff even took a group picture for us. Granbury was a charming town with friendly people. It was a very nice weekend getaway.”

“My stay has been outstanding, the maids are very kind and quick to tend to your needs. My stay has been quiet, comfortable, clean, laid back, and overall pretty nice, I cannot complain. The room could use some renovations, but in this economy Its pretty understandable that this progress is going to take some time. Personally, if your looking into staying here. I would say that taking it upon yourself to find out is a great idea! They will not disappoint! Perfect location, wonderful service, free parking, pets allowed for a low rate, comfortable sheets and pillows, fresh coffee in the morning, and ice and cheap soda! :)”

“This has to be the most beautiful Victorian home I have ever seen. What a privilege it was to stay here. The Iron Horse Inn was the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway or vacation The house is 115 years old and the property even older! Recently renovated back to its original state, it is absolutely breathtaking! With two stories, there are 2 just gorgeous suites plus at least 8 other wonderful rooms. The prices are beyond reasonable, especially when you consider how large the rooms are. The location is idyllic and the furnishings, food, pretty antiques and 400 year old oak trees made me feel as though I had been transported back to the early 1900s. (Only with all the comforts of home and the best air conditioning!) The inn keepers, Julie and Lenny were wonderful hosts! I thoroughly enjoyed every moment in this historic home. I will definitely return and cannot wait!”

Bed not the most comforable but sleepable. The shower was clean and had good water pressure. Was hoping for a better view of lake. Overall a nice, comfortable overnight.”

No Wi-Fi or cable but who needs it in this romantic place. 4th of July in Granbury is classic from this house. You can walk to the town square and the park at the end of the road had a rocking concert.”

“My husband and I decided to do a weekend getaway to Grandbury with our two dogs. We could not have been more pleased with the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel is a little older and the AC units are loud, but the rooms are the perfect size and the hotel is great! It has a lovely, scenic boardwalk. It is a quick 1/2 mile walk to the town square. The restaurant has delicious food, and the staff is friendly. The dog fee was very reasonable, and our pups felt right at home. We would definitely stay here again!”
