“During the 2024 All Texas Shop Hop, we started off a day at The Stitchin’ Shack in Whitney, Texas. What a great shop for a small town! They pretty much do it all! Besides great fabric (check out the great deals on the sale rack), they offer Notary services, U-Haul rentals, Postal package drop off, and machine repair. We both found some lovely fabric that needed to come home with us. We had a delightful conversation with Stephanie (owner)! 💖 Love the collector block from here!”

“I normally don’t like dental work but it’s very important to take care of your teeth. I must say that Dr Oakey and his team of assistants took very good care of me. Along with them being friendly and knowledgeable about my dental care. It wasn’t painful at all. On a pain level of 1 to 10 I give it a solid 3. So very gentle in my opinion. I live 45 minutes away, and there are lots of dentists offices around me, but my family chooses Lake Whitney for our dental needs. Everyone loves my new smile!! I recommend anyone to try them out for all your dental care.”

“Me and my family enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Cottage it was wonderful, Scott is very attentive and friendly. Beautiful place, loved the flowers and my kids loved the Peacock. My daughter even left her Mickey Mouse she sleeps with every night and they called us letting us know they were going to send it out to us! Thank you for such a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend staying here and we will be back.”

“I have never in my 69 years felt so welcome and wanted. These people are beyond awsome. The park mgr, Dennis, has gone way out of his way to help me get settled here. This place is very clean and quiet extremely pet friendly. It is filled with honest upright older people. Dennis has also made it a very safe and secure place to live. No drug labs, no loud blaring nasty music, no screaming and fighting either. The perfect place to live.”
