“Solid shop, good selection of games and merch but smaller selection of comics. Owner is nice and customer service is better than a corporate/chain comic store. Pricing is very reasonable and competitive, and they have an area in the back to play card games and board games with others which is really cool for them to do. Only real complaint I had was today there was a signing from a celeb and it was posted it was a free ticket for signing, absolutely no mention of the celeb charging for signatures or anything. I don't live close by, so I drove out there Friday for the ticket, came back today, and was told literally as we were in line it was $60 a signature. I wasted 4 hours of driving back and forth twice, over a full tank of gas, and disappointed friends that came with me because we didn't have $60 each to pay to meet a childhood hero and it wasn't mentioned AT ALL up front he was charging or what his rates were going to be. If it was like $20 or $30 that's one thing, but $60 for a signature with how expensive everything is now is pretty hard to do. If they advertised the celeb as charging $60 for a signature I wouldn't have gone, no harm no foul unless I had the money. So in all honesty, I feel kinda like it was a bait and switch. Other than that, it seemed like they were handling the signing well, but they need to be very clear about promoting stuff like this. Very disappointed, but I'm not going to let something like that take away from what I still think is a great small business and still purchased something as a gift when I went Friday. I just hope they learn clarify and be up front and honest on social media about their guest signings instead of saying something is free when it's actually not.”

“This shop was a rare find. They have an excellent selection of quality medals! Not only an impressive selection of quite a few saints, but for each one there are multiple styles. I was able to find a St. Jude as a ladies necklace with decorative edges, on a thin, feminine sterling silver chain, which I have never found anywhere before. They also have a ton of books and a wonderful assortment of prayer cards, and I'm sure there's more that I didn't even get to explore. Not to mention they are wonderfully kind and helpful. Excellent customer service, excellent little shop!”

“Went Christmas shopping for my 89 year old daddy. He's having trouble seeing and wanted a Bible with large print. Mardel's did one better and had a Bible with EXTRA large print. I wrote an inscription on the inside cover and was so excited to give it to him for Christmas. With his glasses and overhead magnifier, he was able to read it! He's always been a wonderful Christian husband, father and leader of our household. He also taught his kids what they should know about God, Jesus and how to be saved. Being able to read God's word again brought joy to his soul. Mardel's also stamps your name on the front cover at no extra charge.”

“So five is the most you can give? Visited for the first time two weekends ago, and was instantly impressed. This shop is well organized, appealing to the eye, and you can really see the owner (Randall) puts his passion and pride into it. On top of that, he is a great guy, full knowledge, advice, and tries to go above and beyond for his customers. From, great deals, sale events, and great interactions with him on social media, as well, Randall has a loyal customer in me. Plus, he has an awesome comic press machine that can, to a certain extent, restore the condition of your old/damaged comics that you have to check out!!! My Wolverine #1 is being "freshened up" as I type this! Added bonus: Randall puts on a podcast on YouTube weekly that is great and full of great info for anyone, not just us locals!”
