“This is one of the cleanest, nicest gyms (?) I've ever been in. We joined in October, it's now February. Each visit I've stepped into a clean, refreshing building. The ladies and universal dressing rooms are immaculate each visit. Circuit and weight room equipment is kept clean and organised as is the indoor pool area. Staff are visible, willing to assist as needed or requested. I've been very impressed with the number of visible staff during each visit. My husband is impressed with the quality and quantity of circuit room equipment. I visit the indoor pool often. I watch the lifeguards rotate through the stations. They appear to enjoy their jobs while watching the many seniors using the pool. There is a system in place to test children and teens to insure they can swim before getting into the pool. I've also seen them test the water quality in the pool and spa throughout the day. Having had memberships at various health clubs over the years I believe I'm getting a huge value at McWilliams YMCA. Although I haven't participated I know many classes are offered in cycling, yoga, water aerobics and many other interests all included in my monthly fee.”
