“Lots of green space for all ages. baseball field, indoor and outdoor basketball. tennis courts. bike rentals. picnic tables. playground. model trolley car. Noise from 45 is pretty loud but not deafening. houston ave is a bit buys but starts to get quiet at near the park. we stopped by looking for a place to eat our packed lunch but ended up staying for 2 hours to run around the playground and pretend to ride the trolley. the craziest part in the park description is that this place was originally built as a weekend retreat for houstonians trying to get out of downtown!”

“I love this little park! The playground area is very clean, nice, bright and colorful. The playground has things for toddlers and i still think slightly older kids would enjoy as well. There is also have a huge skate park. The restrooms are clean and air conditioned. There are several picnic tables with umbrellas. Security is on site and very visible.”

“I found this place by accident. A pleasant jewel in the inner city. You don’t have to leave the city to see some green and enjoy the outdoors. I love this place. Just bring mosquito repellent after the rains. This may have been my first visit but it definitely won't be my last.”
