“Jaguar E Type Primrose Yellow After many months searching for an E Type in England only to come across vastly overpriced examples. Cars advertised as turn key which may start on a good day, but had been maintained with the odd new gasket and body filler/bondo hidden under new gleaming paint. I was about to give up when I came across an E Type in Dallas. After securing the car and 4 long months of importing procedures, I went over to the Port of Felixstowe early one sunny morning in June. I was greeted to an stunning sight of her waiting in the holding area. She looked absolutely stunning even though she was covered in dust after a 5000 mile journey. Inside the car was a 200 page photographic file pertaining to the restoration work undertaken by Scotty MacClymonds and his Company. The file shows how she was stripped down and split from the bulkhead and space frame. Every part had been rebuilt, renew, or replaced. The attention to detail is thoroughly memorizing she looks as if she has just rolled off the production line at Jaguar Cars Browns Lane Coventry England. This comment was made by another Jaguar club member at a members meeting recently in the west Midlands The member actually happened to work at Jaguar Cars in the eighties. Saying all that though she will not be treated as any trailer queen, She has been brought back to her former glory with some improvements and needs to be driven. She drives as well as she looks so here's to the next 50 years.”
