James is very personable, patient, and was great with my son! He learned a lot in the 10 sessions we did. I would definitely recommend him.

James gave private lessons to my three children at our home. He came three times a week for about 6 months. My oldest was already a strong swimmer but he taught her proper strokes and with just a few lessons she was in a much different place swimming with confidence and proper technique. James also taught my 3 year old and 4 year old. They were not swimming at all, always used floaters. With a few weeks of lessons the kids were swimming and I felt comfortable having a pool in our backyard. I would recommend James to all our family and friends! He’s great at what he does and reliable!

James is a fantastic swim instructor! He gave private lessons to all three of my kids and within a week their confidence and ability in the water was greatly improved. By the end of our time with him, I felt very comfortable with my kids safely swimming on their own. He is patient, kind and encouraging. He also challenged my oldest child who was already a pretty good swimmer and taught him more difficult strokes. My kids loved swimming with Mr. James!
