“After calling around several vets to get help with a rescue, VCare ended up being the kindest, most supportive and empathetic. My stray Mama cat had a very hard time breathing, I didn’t think she would make it through the night. VCare gave me an immediate appointment over the phone. When I arrived the clinic was very clean and they walked me through possible causes, treatments and pricing. Really asking about her background and understanding what led up to the illness. Everyone was so kind, and treatment was prompt. The doctor called so fast with testing results and medicine was prescribed immediately. Mama was back to herself by the next day. A few days later they called to check up on her, and even helped me with an immediate stray to check for microchip when other vets wouldn’t. Highly recommend this vet!”

“My mom and sister both bring their dogs here so of course when my dog fell ill I decided to bring him down to The Oaks and I’m glad I did! They were able to get him in an appointment ASAP and all of the staff was extremely nice. My dog was taken care of like family and everyone was very attentive and explained our situation well. It was also extremely fairly priced. The wait wasn’t long and our room was clean and had everything to keep my dog calm. So glad this place is close to home because we’ve found ourself our new Vet! They are simply untrue. I would happily recommend them personally to ANYONE, whether you are happy with your vet or not! If you do some research on surrounding providers and how some of them utilize money saving techniques above the best interest of your pet, you wouldn’t be anything less than horrified. They DO NOT use these painful techniques. I immediately moved ALL of my pets who were scheduled at KAAWS to this office, after my first time here. “I've only been to see these guys once but plan to transfer all of my pets here. My first experience was absolutely awesome. Everything was explained in plain English without all of the medical jargon that most doctors want to use. I was shown the xrays and shown exactly where my dog's problem is. “Our 14yo Lab collapsed (and sadly died on our way to the ER). The staff here were very kind and supportive when we got there and through the whole process. A few days later we received a sweet sympathy card signed by all the staff. A few days after that we received a card stating a tree was being planted in his memory on behalf of this ER. Wow! Such a sweet and precious gesture. Highly recommend them!”

We saw tons of Parvo dogs in our clinic and the vet always said it was the owner who allowed the exposure- HPUSA is great, only thing is the crowds (not a people person). Not only did Doctor B. show complete compassion and professionalism but his vet tech, Amber, was instrumental in making a horrible situation bearable. She was so kind and explained the process in a way that lessened my fear. They were both very gentle with my fur baby when putting him down and I can't thank them enough for that.
