“It was good, ...just a little run down for a Marriott. Staff was great, pillows were amazing as always, beds pretty good, etc. Things were clean, just needed updated instead of patched up. For example, the are probably three layers of caulk in the bathroom in a few places. Water was off for a short time when another room had an issue. Staff was understanding and kept us updated.”

“Excellent service and follow-up at BBVA Compass Galveston. I experienced racial discrimination at another bank -- BB&T Webster -- and they closed all four of my business bank accounts without my request or knowledge. They gave me no advanced notice whatsoever and the two times I was at the branch they treated me like I had no business being in the branch or having accounts there at all. I had a personal checking account at BBVA, and I was living in Galveston at the time, so I went right over to BBVA and met with Carol to open a new business account. I was greeted warmly, introduced to the branch manager, who also treated me with respect and welcomed me. Because my LLC documents were in my storage unit somewhere (since I wasn't expecting to have to open another account anytime soon), Carol had to research via the Secretary of State. She did so cheerfully and with no complaints. She had such a great attitude that I felt better about all the trouble I had to go through with BB&T. I didn't need to be there. I needed to be at BBVA the whole time. Lesson learned.”

“Excellent care from the beginning of our visit. My child needed to see a doctor while we were on vacation in Galveston. Took a chance on this office based on reviews and proximity. We arrived shortly after urgent care opened and had minimal wait time. Most of the wait was just due to processing paperwork and insurance since we were out of network. Front desk was courteous and helpful. The nurse was excellent- friendly, patient and put my child and me at ease. Doctor spent a lot of time with us; much more than we are used to at our pediatrician’s office. The office was clean and welcoming. I would definitely visit again if needed in the future.”

“I just want to say I was absolutely impressed by Dr. Rogers and her show of affection to my baby boy on our recent visit. I was previously taking my little one to the UTMB pediatrics office closer to our house but switched to the Galveston office since its closer to family and wow, I am so glad I did! Dr. Rogers shared how important water safety is and encouraged us to learn CPR and also provided us with a safety whistle for the pool and brochure for me and my family to read over. She took her time with us and thoroughly checked out my baby boy to make sure he was healthy and happy. I’m so used to just rushing through our doctor visit which makes me feel like my baby is just another number on the list but that was definitely not the case on with this visit. I was even gushing to my husband about baby’s doctor visit the whole ride home! I was also so pleased to know that Dr. Rogers fully supports my breastfeeding journey which is so important because I feel as if formula has become the norm in today’s world. Thank you, Dr. Rogers, for being such a loving and wonderful doctor!”

“Going to the dentist is never a highly anticipated experience, but this place changed that. The x-rays were the most painless I've taken at a dental office, as well as very quick. The doctor was great! He was very personable and extremely friendly and put me at ease very easily. The hygienist did a great cleaning and the treatment planner was great as well. She explained the insurance coverage and, like the doctor she had a great personality. I'm very happy with this office and I would highly recommend them!”
