“FOLLOW UP: I have continued to see Dr. AMER because of her nurse who is wonderful: returns calls, responsive, timely and helpful. I believe in 2nd chances. Things have gotten better with Dr. Amer who has addressed my concerns. She is a pleasant physician, always available and the office is never crowded or requires long wait time. FIRST VISIT: The location is new. The doctor seemed new as well. I was a new patient and thought she would inquire about my family and medical history, she did not. I was offered to do my annual physical which was open your mouth, breath in and out and go do labs at Quest. I said I recently had abdominal pain, that was ignored. As she exited the room her child was at the door. I got a sense of dissatisfaction and like she was not a personable physician who got detailed with her patients. She did a lot of suggesting to see other specialist and was honest about her abilities”

Enjoy a coffee or warm towel for your hands while you wait which wasn't long at all, I was back in no time. The nurse practitioner I saw was very personal and informative. She made me feel very comfortable l like a person not a number. That's why I like this size office and the location is easily accessible with no crowded parking garages🤗. “I had been to two foot specialist for turf toe or more specifically Hallux Rigidus of the right toe/foot. Nothing helped and I was told surgery was the only option but it might not work or cortisone shots which they said is not a long term solution. Dr Gallegos recommended Storz Ultrasound shock therapy. I figured it cant hurt to try. I did a therapy and the results have been incredible and I became quit angry that the two foot specialist I saw didn’t recommend this. It’s been a few months now and I my pain relief has been amazing and 80 percent of the mobility I had lost has come back. At this point I go Thrive and get their opinion before I go anywhere minus a medical emergency where I am going to the ER. I have sent a few friends and family members their way and everyone is impressed by them as I have been and seen major results for whatever issue they were consulting with them for.”

Visiting a doctor is typically a very rushed, assembly line ordeal with lots of waiting in the lobby followed by a very brief interaction with the actual physician. Dr. Gallegos took the time to actually get to know me personally before we even started discussing my medical issues. Then he explained to me that his philosophy is to get to the root of my medical issues to solve the problem rather than just treating the symptoms, and that is what we have been doing.
