(October 16, 2022, 9:30 pm)Very nice quiet little place with a 1/2 mile trail. There are benches if you need to stop and rest. It is not a paved trail. Although the park is in the city it gives you the feeling of being out in a rural area or a wilderness trail. I do not recommend this trail because I like the solitude it offers and I do not want people packing the place while I am there walking🤔.
(April 18, 2022, 11:34 pm)It was very beautiful why I saw bluebonnets the size of Mike I don't know what they were huge like they're on steroids or something and a lot of bluebonnets out there it was incredible I was just amazed I never thought they could be so beautiful in the smell is absolutely wonderful it was just absolutely wonderful I just suggest you all go out and take a look at least that one area anyhow enjoy
(April 3, 2021, 6:46 pm)A nice little prairie next to a small lake. There's a nice walking circuit, information about the Blackland Prairie, access to the lake shore and distance markers
(January 21, 2018, 3:49 pm)This new area will evolve into a wonderful experience. I hope there are plans to add places to sit, and sanctuaries for wildlife to thrive. I'm picturing a place like Coyote Bluff in Amarillo Texas!
