This is a regular hiking spot for me and my puppy dog. Gorgeous trails surrounded by lush woods and gargantuan cottonwood trees. Very peaceful and serene. For anyone using nature to recharge their batteries, this place is THE spot! But...it can be muddy after rain and bugs are abundant. Go when it's been dry for a while and always carry bug spray.
Wonderful place to go and hike. Trails are good and easy to follow. Great place to see wildlife. It is a perfect hike for weekend's. Never been to crowded when I was there. Be careful on the road out it is lined with trees and there is a sharp s curve just after the entrance it can be easly missed.
We can get a good walk here while checking out the beautiful scenery. They have different types of terrain to check out and lots of critters. We saw some deer run through one time!!! If it rains, though, a lot of the trails are inaccessible or hard to walk through. But over all we love this place and visit it often!
Loved the mountain bike and hike path , wide , great views and pretty close to town. For mountain bike it’s basically flat so not major roller coaster ride like excitement, but again we are in Dallas.
Peaceful area with nicely maintained and marked trails. Great for easy trail running as trails are flat and terrain is not difficult.
