“Dr. Holmes and his team at Cigma Dental are wonderful! I've had 2 root Canals with them and have been treated with exceptional kindness and great care. Dr. Holmes has a unique approach to numbing that feels a lot better than any other numbing experience I've had. He waits for the numbing gel to really sink in before giving a first small injection. He then waits for that to absorb before giving a second dose of numbing. He continues to pace time between injections which results in less pain during each dose. This technique makes the numbing easier to take and causes lower dentist anxiety for future appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Holmes and his amazing team at Cigma Dental!!!”

“Dr. Trinh at the Prosper location was wonderful. She was very helpful and patient as we worked to find the right contact lens type. Additionally, she shared information on eye health by recommending types of food to eat, vitamins to take, and wearing sunglasses. She showed me the results of the tests they ran and related them to the history of eye problems in my family. Never had such thorough feedback before. I have my appointment for next year and will continue to go back. Great experience.”

“I have been getting a bald fade for years now and I have tried plenty of barbers over the years. From Floyd’s 99 to hole in the wall shops they all performed the same cut differently. With that being said, the level of consistency of Ali’s work is top tier! After about three visits he doesn’t need to ask what I want he just knows! I trust this man so much I ask his opinion for my own head. His shop is private so it’s just you and him with a big screen and some music. He gets to know not only your hair and preferences but also you as a person. He is now our family’s barber and I recommend him to everyone. Best in North Texas by far!”

“Absolutely recommend to everybody! I received botox in my forehead for some wrinkles, filler in my upper and lower lip, and started a skincare routine with April. April was very informative and patient with me, as a first timer. She was very positive and polite with all of my questions. She helped me understand exactly what to expect, what was happening, and the maintenance I would be doing. April helped calm my nerves and walked me through everything. “The stars have nothing to do with the workout. I really love my time there. It's a fantastic program. Unfortunately, I am sick and rather than exposing others, I am not going to be able to use 2 of my 8 workouts that I pay for monthly. Even for an illness they will not reimburse you or roll over what you pay for. You don't use it, you lose it, even if you are sick. You can freeze your membership for the NEXT month, but you still lose out on workouts you pay for. I will most likely be canceling my subscription overall because of this. *Editing from two stars to five.* After reading this review, the manager got in touch with me and said that this was in fact not their policy and she rolled over my 2 unused paid for classes for when I'm not sick, and easily suspended my membership so I'm not being billed automatically until I am well enough to come back. Michelle is fantastic and very professional and great to talk to. She definitely cares. I do hope that their employees are now informed that they are able to assist those who are sick instead of telling clients that they will just lose what they pay for even with a legitimate reason.”

“My child had a great experience! The front office was very efficient. The doctor's assistant, Sabrina (I believe), she was friendly with my child and very thorough in her work. There is no rush, everything is explained in detail, and kids are made to feel comfortable. Dr. Steve himself is a wonderful & knowledgeable dentist. Not only did he answer all of my questions patiently, he took time to explain what is recommended, what can wait - there is no push for treatment/prescription that may not be needed for young kids. This was such a refreshing experience when compared to few doctors who have one foot out the door while you're still processing what they said! Very pleased to have found Barnlight Kids Dental!”

“I see some negative reviews here about how scheduling works and about the office staff. I’ve been seeing Dr. Bauer for 5 years & I’ve never had a single problem with scheduling. Even when I have needed to see him quickly, I have gotten a workable appointment. What I have experienced has been a professional and friendly staff, and an easy scheduling system. I usually just go online to book something. Furthermore, the Baylor Scott & White system includes an online portal which is very useful for routine questions and prescription requests/refills. I use it often and every time I do, I get a very quick response. I messaged just this week for a prescription and within 15 minutes, the nurse messaged back that it had been approved and sent to my pharmacy. You can’t get better service than that. There was a comment about frustration at not being able to talk about more than 2 issues at an office visit. This is not the Drs choice, this is dictated by insurance companies. This was starting to be the case several years ago, when I was with another Dr., under a different system. Thanks to insurance control of the health industry, rigid rules & policies force our doctors to adhere to how much time they can spend and how many issues can be addressed, or it won’t be covered. It’s a tall orders for doctors and they spend as much time doing paperwork for insurance as they do seeing patients. Lastly, a few patients commented that Dr. Bauer is not compassionate. I have never seen him be anything but caring and very ethical. He has helped me with several ongoing health issues and I have complete trust in his expertise. He’s friendly and very easy to discuss anything with. I’m very glad to have found such a good practice.”
