“Linda and Steven have created something very special and unique with their Goatel. The loft above the goat barn was cozy, comfortable and also included a kitchen & bathroom. Kids loved the farm experience, being able to fish in the bayou and making s’mores. Definitely recommend this place!”

“Nice spot for a quiet weekend. My one complaint is that there was residue from what I assume was a bug sprayer truck that came through overnight - but it’s surrounded by woods and I like the shade trees so I’ll take the spray so we don’t have mosquito swarms- just plan to stop and wash off the rig on the way home. Staff was nice and facilities seem to be well kept although definitely a newer set of amenities. Would have loved some shade over the mini golf and some additional seating/shade around pools. Hopefully in the future they have plans for a larger pool or splash pad as we went on a weekend that wasn’t super busy - lots of spots open but not a lot of room left at pools before they got crowded feeling. We have plans to return- overall for the price and convenient location to us it’s a nice little get away with minimum fuel expense.”

“Borrowed a couple all my friends children to give them a break and walked over to Morgan Park. Found a great little playground with lots of new types of climbing and crawling and sliding activities. Was really impressed with the playground. Alvin Parks keeps it nice and tidy and everything was in good working order and safe. The kids had a blast and so did I.”

Pearson Park is exemplary with lots of things for the children to play on and do as well as all of the sports areas that are well-lit and well-maintained. Really impressive place. Good place to go for long walks as well as they have sidewalk around the whole place that is really good”

“Great Park. Awesome huge new playground, and very nicely refinished older playground. Good disc golf course. Plenty of open room to play catch or run around. Nice shade. Several big Pavilions for parties. Nice Trails going around ponds with lots of ducks and other birds. Very clean and well-maintained.”
