The Texas Road Stand

I tried a burger at the Texas Road Stand Drive In this week and I have to say it was the best burger of my life. I am not stretching the truth. In fact I’m waiting for my second one right now with my daughter to take home lunch for lunch with the family. This chef is very sweet and she truly cares about the food she serves. This place is a must if you love great food.

Y’all, that burger was so delicious that I teared up a little. I’ve been meaning to check this place out and I’m just mad at myself that I waited so long! Perfectly cooked, delicious burger, crispy and deliciously flavored onion rings, seasoned crinkle fries and the snappiest pickles around! The bacon jam on the Podcast burger was so yummy, and those homemade buns are everything. We got our food to go and I liked that everything was wrapped in paper, less waste is always good. Can’t wait to go back!
Make sure you pick up a quart of pickles, we only got a half quart today and I already regret it. So good.

We went here today for lunch and it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the burgers and we had the best tater tots we’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back to try more things.

WE DID pick up for breakfast and it was excellent! I ordered online and it was ready when I arrived. We had the chicken, egg, bacon and cheese. Best one I have ever had! We also had blueberry pancakes which were fantastic! Service and food both 5 stars! Please go here and support this small business and these great people!

Things we have found yummy at this cute little place with picnic tables under the trees. Excellent large burgers with fresh veg on the side are served with the perfect amount of fries seasoned with the chefs own blend. A fried chicken sandwich better than any cartoon sailor's. Nice drive from Austin any way you get there. The pickles are homemade and tasty as well. Face masks and distancing are requested.
