“If you are looking for a place that's quiet and fishing friendly this is it. Our 40 footer was an interesting park but was successful. Rear was almost over the water. I watched crabs, speckled trout and red fish do their thing from my back window. Rockport is close by and has everything you need. Ray the camp host is very helpful. Neighbors were also great. We will be back, soon.”

“Everything about this place was great for exactly what it was, a motel to sleep in and bathe in. Great bed, good a/c in 105° summer heat with fridge and microwave and table. Nice flat screen with cable and spacious bathroom. Big walk in shower. After calling and looking online in Rockport, Aransas, and Port A it was the cheapest next to oyo and oyo is for junkies and addicts. There is no, breakfast or pool which is reflected by its price compared to everywhere else. Great location, rockport 5 to 10 mins away, heb and walmart less than 5 mins, and port a 10 mins depending on ferry time. Great customer service, can't say enough about this place for the budget conscious. Will be back.”

It's crazy & how she does it I'll never know!!!❤ Good people everywhere. Only strangers for a min. Quiet, fairly priced, well maintained. Centered just a bit from town (1.5mi to HEB, Thrift stores, Eateries & the Washteria) So if you're looking to come south or live here in the south looking for a hide away with tons of great fishing (my personal passion) Here's a spot to squat! “Please, Please, Please use John's Transmission & Engine. Coming back to Austin from a fishing trip in Port Aransas, the water pump to my truck suddenly and completely came apart as soon as I came off the ferry. I pulled into the parking lot of the HEB in Aransas Pass at about 2:30pm on a Thursday. I called a couple of mechanics in Port Aransas and none of them were willing to help me so late in the day and could only offer to try to fit my vehicle in for repairs on the next day. John, however, listened to my need to get back to Austin on that same day and agreed to work on my vehicle immediately. I limped my truck about a mile away where John had already pushed other vehicles out of the way that could wait until tomorrow. He immediately began to work on my vehicle personally. It was a difficult job and required lots of patience and know-how. John stayed until 8 pm. to complete the job himself and then checked and rechecked his work so that I would not get stuck again on the drive home. He also gave me an extra gallon of water and coolant for the drive. And to top it all off, the cost of the repair was extremely fair and he didn't even consider charging me extra or taking advantage of a traveling tourist in need. Honesty, Skill and Customer Service Orientated!!! Highly Recommended.”

“I could not be more pleased at the service I received from Freedom RV. We had a mishap on the way down and had them do an estimate. They made every effort to squeeze us in for an emergency repair working closely with our insurance company. The price was reasonable, service extraordinary. They also made sure to followed up after the repair. Freedom RV does not sell new RVs. Their expertise is in RV repair and service. They certainly showed it. Great people. I can't say enough how much I appreciate their professionalism.”

“The owner is very helpful and is really working hard , along with his employees to clean the place up. Our room is clean and we are allowed to have our dogs at no extra charge( rare) and I was surprised that it's pretty quiet The manager is super nice, but enforces the rules. I really have to say that outside appearances don't always tell.the whole story. Due to circumstances beyond our control we ended up staying here last minute. The owner really saved us and our dogs from being homeless by working with us. I'm grateful to have this roof over my head today.Great Great people!!!”

“We went to just get away and recover from hand surgery. So when we arrived Lesa made sure I didnt even have to get off my vehicle. They showed us our room. And room smelled great as we opened the door and saw how clean & fresh it looked & smelled. All beds had sheets, bedding & plenty of pillows. Bathroom was very clean and had plenty of towels. We had plenty of seating & beds. Although the room slept at least 5. Hubby and I went alone. But we are definitely already planning our next get away with my whole family. Thanks again to the staff who made sure to check on us throughout our 3 night stay. They were all very courteous and helpful if needed.”

“Could not ask for better customer service! Bought new A/C unit after purchasing a dud from a different (Explore USA Rockport) place. These guys said to drop off the unit with them & they would test it for us (what? The other place said they needed our whole rv with a/c connected to be able to test it & blah, blah, blah to think about getting us our money back) (see my Explore USA Rockport review for more info) Amazingly enough we (customer Jason Wyeth) were issued a refund not even 24 hrs later for the faulty unit we didn't even purchase there. They just wasted my time. I guess it was just too small for them to care. Bayfront Roofing and construction made me fell like it was a big important job. They did great job and we are very pleased.
