“Amazing hiking trails, I believe this is the only trail that we have in Springhill. The signs make it look like it was built by some Boy Scouts. The great way that they designed it was in a switchback fashion which allows you to get a lot of miles down and when you want to head back to your car you can quickly get there by cutting through once you get your miles in.”

“Love this park! Came early in the AM and parking lot was empty. Easy to find a number of trails to start from. Beautiful and easy hike deep into the woods without seeing others - ran into one other person on a cross-trail. Dog friendly but there is a preserve where pets are not allowed off of the Nancy Conway trail.”

Pinkerton Park

Park

“For those who prefer to walk with kids it's a spot for them. There is a fine kids park, dinning space, table tennis 🎾 area, castle structure park setup was most impressed by kids. they're extremely happy to play. Coming back to adults, pavement walking spaces, you can find a swing on your way to mellow out. Less narrow roads. Best place for a picnic spot.”

Heritage Park

Address: 4803 Columbia Pike, Thompson's Station, TN 37179, USA

Park

“I just discovered these trails about a week ago and I love them! I love the fact that the trails aren’t paved and there are lots to choose from! One downfall is that a lot of the trails are shaded so even days after raining, it’s still quite muddy and slippery but other than that, they’re wonderful and peaceful.”

“Amazing place. Whether you are visiting for a short break, or a nice walk through the shaded walkways, even just to see and feed some very hungry geese / ducks, you will always find people throughout the park happy. It is very well kept clean, and orderly. The newly built playground is absolutely amazing and the children seen their have tons to enjoy. With the presence of the local PD regularly sweeping through no real fears of incidents comes to mind. Definitely a park to visit in your free time if for nothing else than to just drive through slowly and enjoy seeing all the happy people and possibility of some wildlife.”

K-9 Korral Dog Park

Address: 239 Franklin Rd, Franklin, TN 37064, USA

Park

“Beautiful dog park 😍 Had such a great experience here. We have been passing by this park for a month now and finally had a chance to stop by today and check it out. It's a small drive to the backside of the property giving you such a beautiful view of the surrounding land. Plenty of Parking space for large vehicles or small vehicles. If you have a camper or a trailer you can park ahead just before coming to the actual park and it would be a small walk for you. They have seating available. In my experience today I let my pet run freely and all the other pets were super friendly so it was like watching a bunch of kids playing together 🤣 No worries at all , definitely recommend bringing a gallon of water and a bowl so when your pet gets thirsty he or she doesn't have to wait. Bring a few tennis balls that you don't mind losing. Bring some snacks for yourself because today we spent nearly 3 hours hanging out here the weather ended up really nice for the dog park 😍 Bring some doggy bags for when your pet has an accident , they have trash cans available for you to throw your waste bags in. I would definitely recommend you stop by here if you have been interested in a nice dog park for your pet. Have a wonderful day!!! 😁”

Winstead Hill Park

Address: 4023 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064, USA

Park

“Very neat park! I didn't know Franklin had such a strategic battle here in the Civil War. We actually met a man here who gave us alot of information on the times and the battle. He knew his stuff! I'm pretty sure he was a 'daughter of the __________' who took care of the park! The map at the top of the stairs is something to see. It is hard for me to imagine HOW the terrain, the times, the killing that went on here transpired!!! So sad.”

Del Rio Park

Address: 1100 Del Rio Ct, Franklin, TN 37064, USA

“Small park. Swings, slide, climbing frame. Usually empty or 1 other child. Great for younger kids (2-5) especially.”

Owl Creek Park

Address: 9751 Concord Rd, Brentwood, TN 37027, USA

Park

“This was a nice park that I decided to run at while my son was busy with an activity. The trails were good and it wasn't crowded at all, but it wasn't long enough for me. I prefer quite a few miles of trails and I had to run these a couple times just to get my mileage in. I would also be concerned about using the trails when lighting isn't good because there wasn't a ton of light but I was running in the middle of the afternoon.”

Miss Peggy's Bark Park (formerly Barkwood Dog Park)

Address: Tower Park, Brentwood, TN 37027, USA

Park

“Love this dog park! Spacious and different obstacles for dogs to run around on. Google maps definitely didn’t help me get there correctly. You need to park by the Williamson county recreation building. You’ll walk through the tunnel and follow the signs. It’s about .25 miles so really not bad at all. I went on a Saturday afternoon and sadly there were no other dogs.”

Cemetery Museum Park

“Beautiful grounds and home! This was probably one of the best tours we had full of history told by the best tour guide Will! Everyone working here was so nice and really knew the history so well my husband and I left feeling so satisfied especially for the price of the tour. We went on so many tours and this tour had the most meat as far as background and explanation of what happened during the battle and the family that lived here. Thank you so much Will for sharing every detail with us and being so passionate about preserving history.”
