I'm told it's normal with aging (65). When my first eye was done (cataract removal with added lens), after about a month of healing and being able to see perfectly, I went out one cold night without my eye protection gargles on. When I returned home, the floaters appeared immediately. It was alarming. I did not expect that. I called the 24/7 hotline and was invited in first thing the next morning for an exam. The exam results were good and there was no damage to the eye. After another month the floaters are not quite as prominent and I hope they will soon settle. I would do it all again, but I would be sure to wear eye protection at night, too.”
