“Dr. Selznick has taken care of my animals for at least thirty years. She has cared for five dogs and one cat over that period of time. She is careful about recommending a procedure if the animal has major health issues. One of my dogs had some major health problems and she was good about helping me during one of her health emergencies. I have recommended her to friend in search of a new vet. I also like the fact that she does not over book appointments. My dogs are not stressed by a waiting room fillef with other animals.”

“Dr.Springer is phenomenal. She diagnosed my 9 year old boxer with mast cell cancer but was able to remove the tumors successfully and he is now cancer free. She had communication with me during that whole process and would call to see how he was doing. She also put both my dogs on a healthier diet and they are doing so well because of her! I travel 45 minutes just to see her and my dogs love her! And the techs are great too! This vet is also a lot cheaper then most in the Greensburg area.”

“After moving to Greensburg from California, I had no veterinarian. When my Malaute mix, which was 14 years old, suddenly was unable to walk and became really sick. Several veterinarian turned me away, saying that since I wasn't a client, they could not see me for weeks. He was an emergency case and needed to see a veterinarian. Dr. Mike and the staff brought us in immediately. It happened that my dog had cancer, and they gave me all my options. I decided to put him down. It was the hardest but most kind thing to do for my loved animal. These people were strangers but were kind to me and my dog. I now have a new puppy I take to them. Who they treat with the best care and the same kindness.”

“Excellent. It's a fine edge with being a Vet. They have to not only treat the horse but also educate and listen to the owners. Some owners just want a Vet to 'fix' a problem. Others, like me, not only want to fix the issue but understand how to prevent and/or rehabilitate. That takes time. Allegheny Equine makes the time. Another thing I truly appreciate is that their practice doesn't push testing, diagnostic testing if they don't feel its necessary. Sometimes an ultrasound is called for, sometimes it isn't. I'd prefer to reserve my cash for what is needed down the line and I appreciate the upfront honesty. Overall, a solid A.”
