“I adore the Walnutport canal, I walk here almost daily and my husband fishes here as often as he can. I recently attended the canal festival as a vendor and had a fantastic time. So glad to see people appreciate the canal.”

“It was a wonderful visit. The people were very nice, and you got to see some absolutely fabulous guitars. Maybe even more special than the seeing these fabulous guitars was being able to walk into that very special room, pick up a D-45 or a 000-42 and play to your heart's content. I've been in a hundred music stores, and I've never seen either one of these guitars, ever, hanging on a wall. So now I know what all the fuss is about. Nazareth is a hard place to get to, but if you're in that part of the country, and a guitar player, it is an absolutely necessary visit.”

“I went today. They have layouts in every major scale, one on the top floor and several on the lower floor. I personally liked the HO layout on the upper floor better, but I prefer HO anyway, so there may be bias there. They also have a gift shop/flea market where you can buy new or used locomotives, track, and other equipment. I got a DCC locomotive for cheaper than I could on eBay. The members of the club are happy to answer any questions you may have, and were willing to test the products before I purchased it. The person even reprogrammed the locomotive before I bought it. Admission is inexpensive with adults costing $5 and children (15 and under) costing $1 each.”

“Wonderful place, very educational. It was delightful to learn so much about the area I grew up in- who knew we had such a rich history here! Also, it is as engaging for a 95 year old as it is for a 5 year old. From visiting the mules, rides on the canal, nature trails, to hands on exhibits, there is something for everyone to enjoy. :)”

“Wonderful little Museum with lots of local history. We have taken out Cub Scouts for a personal tour and they had a great time learning about the history or where they live. Please try and stop by and support their efforts to preserve the past.”

“Wonderful little museum hands on for children. Staff was friendly and attentive and interacted with my children helping them learn. The canal ride was not just a fun ride but also very informational.”

“Great place to see at any age! Canal rides are very interesting (the ride does cost money). You can also walk on the towpath and watch the freight trains go by. On the towpath there is information about the canal and nature. Some areas do have public restrooms, some interesting people have lived along the canal.”
