The garden and the municipal complex were built on the site of the childhood home of the poet H.D. (Hilda Doolittle). H.D. is buried in the nearby Nisky Hill Cemetery. Access by stairs from Church Street; wheelchair access through the curved drive adjacent to the city parking garage. ”

There are two playgrounds and two sets of swings conveniently located near the parking lot, and each one is designed for a specific age group.
