The staff are generally very friendly and helpful, I wanted to find out about local history and they gave me access to a box full of newspaper clippings and articles on the local history of Gladwyne. I learnt more in that one day going through the box and their local history resource room with maps and almanacs than for the last couple of years living here. There is a great variety of books, cds, dvds here as well for any of the usual library requirements as well as a great children’s section downstairs that also has a computer for young children to use. On certain days there are also events for children and you can get family passes here for Philadelphia museums and galleries.”
