“Me and 3 others booked the 4 hr treetop adventure and had a blast! Our amazing guide Katie lead us in a group of about 16 people. She did a great job of pacing the group, but there are points where you will have to wait for people to complete a section of the course. The main portion of course will provide a fair challenge to anyone and if you finish early, there is a difficult bonus course to try. Overall, great experience! Definitely will return again soon!”

“Attention! The Merry Inn does not list a physical address, but I've estimated that the GPS coordinates are: 41.194810, -75.250747 It's on 390N just north of the intersection with 447 (not quite the same as where Google maps the PO box). It is a blue Inn on the left with a blue sign. The Merry Inn is a lovely place to stop and relax. I stayed a night to attend a wedding at Skytop (only a couple of miles away). The rooms are clean and nicely furnished and start at about $105/night. The rooms I saw had private baths, but there may be others that share, so ask ahead if that is important to you. There are beautiful touches around the inn from the fresh flowers in the rooms to the delicious home made, made-to-order breakfast (served with local maple syrup). The innkeeper is a retired DC caterer, so the meal is miles better than your typical stale donuts and reheated lukewarm hotel fare. The hostess is incredibly nice and accommodating. The inn is great for someone looking for a pleasant, relaxing evening. But beware if you are tech-addicted, my only critique is a lack of wifi and spotty cell service throughout the area. For others, this is perfect for a true vacation, though.”

“The St. Michaels Ukrainian Orthodox Church is very welcoming. Both the inside and the outside of the church look amazing. You tell that this church was made carefully, with effort, and it deffinetly shows. The priest is very friendly and kind and so is everyone that goes to the church. Everyone in the church speaks Ukrainian, which is great. I really like this church, it’s amazing, and so is everyone that goes there.”

“At nearly 15 years of age, this old dog has had multiple health issues over the last few years due to variety of illnesses as well as disc disease. So when he began sleeping more than awake, hesitant to go outdoors... it seemed only fair to begin considering quality of life. This was our first visit to Canadensis. Dr. Bell, Sarah, Danielle and the receptionist were wonderful. Both exam and diagnostics performed with such considerate and gentle approach. Later the same day, this old dog ran further than he has been able to walk in the past year. Sierra called with diagnostic results and Dr. McCabe prescribed antibiotics. In just a few days the turnaround is more than ever expected.Thank you.”

“Clean and bright. Great place for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Bagels and a shmear. Pork roll, egg and cheese. Salads and sandwiches galore. The employees are nice and warm and helpful. “Place is nice, typical laundromat. They keep it clean. Problem is there is no phone service here. They say there is free WiFi but you must sign in and there is no password listed. They say to see the desk, but there's usually no one around...not to mention there is no desk since they've closed the deli. That said, you're there to do laundry. The machines are decent and do a good job. Prices are decent too.”

“Quaint and cozy B&B. We truly enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time to spend in the serene surroundings. The owners were friendly and attentive, beds were comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious with a very large selection of made-to-order items. The scones were amazing. We’re glad we found this gem and are looking forward to staying there again the next time we head to the Poconos. It was also close to Camelback and Shawnee ski areas.”

“After sending my daughter to this camp for seven summers, I can only say that she and her camp friends have had an awesome time, with each summer somehow being described as the best summer ever! The staff has a special way interacting with all types of personalities. The activities are vast in number, so every child should be able to have fun. The communication from the staff is exceptional, and while it is a lot of work for them making this place what it is, it comes across as they too are having fun. I have absolutely no reservations in giving Camp Canadensis my full endorsement. My only regret is that I am a parent and can't go to this camp too!”

“The elementary kids I work with love this camp. Every summer we rent a few cabins to get away from the city. They love the food. The staff is friendly. There are some newly renovated cabins, but overall the cabins are decent. The activities are fun and everyone love the pool and campfire.”

“I don't do a lot of outdoor gardening, but when I want to buy plants or bulbs, I get them here. The staff is friendly and helpful. As far as price, I haven't shopped around much. Yes, they are more expensive that WalMart, but you get quality plants and advice. Besides I'd rather help out locally owned businesses.”
