“Nice motel. Rooms have plenty of space and are clean. The motel has a patio in the back looking over the corn field. They are on Route 340. You can not hear much of the traffic while in the room. Each room has a designated parking space which are numbered for each room. I would recommend this motel.”

“This place is adorable. Right in the heart of Lancaster county, minutes away from anywhere you'd want to see (or eat!). Small kitchenette with just a mini-fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Great bathtub! No TV, but with so much to do in the area, I didn't miss it at all! Great for a couple to get away to, but only room for 2, so leave the kids at home.”

“I stayed in the grand king room and it was beautiful. They staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room we were checked into was perfect except the tub wouldn’t drain. We called the front desk and they quickly came to look at it, they were unable to get it to drain immediately so they put us in a new room and gave us a complementary bottle of wine. The complimentary breakfast was superb. Was wonderful and would definitely stay again.”

“Enjoyed our stay over the weekend! All of the staff was extremely helpful and very kind. Check in and out was no issues and rooms were very clean and beds were comfy. Loved the area outside of the bathroom for others to do makeup and hair while someone else was in the bathroom. Breakfast was good and fresh. We stayed from Friday through Monday and would definitely stay again. Just minutes away from Sight and Sound Theater and only 45 minutes away from Hershey Park. Great location and beautiful area!”

“I have been staying here for a few years. Only place I recommend to people. I always feel so welcomed. Always very clean. I love early mornings looking out to the field or feeding the fish across the road. It is so nice to plop down on a comfy big bed mid afternoon from shopping and taking a nap. Love, love little sink and plates, utensils to enjoy my local snacks. She always has drinks in the fridge. So many soft towels and generous spa tub. Gas, cozy fireplace in the Fall. Self serve espresso machine in dining. Perfect country breakfast for me. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.”

“I lived in Ohio with my family, so I have been interested in Amish so very much. My dream had been staying in Amish farm for a long time and finally my dream came true. My staying with my husband was so wonderful and impressive! Warm hospitality of Mr. and Mrs. Stoltzfus, good scene, calm and tranquil surroundings and perfect facilities in the guesthouse. All were absolutely perfect. We believe that we will be back in the future! At first we were anxious if we could contact the owners smoothly, because now we live in Tokyo, Japan. But soon it turned to be in vain. The manager (or organizer) named Dave helped us a lot. When we made our reservation, he replied to be accepted soon. Moreover, whenever we asked questions(we wanted to visit another farm tour and to know correct address of the house where Amish dinner would be served), he answered promptly and concisely. It was so helpful! Thanks to him, we could enjoy a farm tour in Old Windmill Farm and a wonderful dinner with Amish sisters and their children. They were so very splendid and impressive, too. It was so impressive for us that most Amish not only struggled to keep their own ways of life but also tried hard to change and march with the times. Their living inspired us a lot. I’d like to appreciate the Stoltzfus, Dave and all who were involved with our staying. As I wrote, we will sure to be back here in the future.”

“I’ve been camping over 40 years and I’ll tell you one thing about this place - you won’t find a cleaner bath house anywhere. Our cabins interior was wonderfully finished, and the setting was as quiet as advertised. It’s a nice alternative to a motel.”

“Don’t be persuaded by the 2 star rating. This was perfect. Quaint. Immaculate( and I’m super picky and a germaphobe). I was immediately impressed. Check in was fast and simple. Room was exactly what was needed. No weird smells. Heating was quiet. Bed was PERFECT and better than mine! The shower head was to die for. I often come to this area so now I know where to go. When you travel, you are not spending the majority of your time in the room but when you are in the room you want comfort. We were comfortable! No bugs of any sort! I say this because 4 and 5 star places have had the occasional bug, weird smells, unclean towels and more. Travelers Rest has made me a Customer for life! Plus, breakfast was on point. Thanks for the great stay!”
