“My wife and I went on the Herr's Snack Factory tour and our guide "Baily" was very nice and very knowledgeable about the operations of the factory and how everything was made. We saw several different areas where they were making potato chips, tortilla chips, and pretzels. We saw how they added the different spices and flavors and watched as the machines automatically moved the the products from one place to another, weighed them and then bagged and boxed them. It was all very interesting, and at the end, we got to sample hot potato chips right off the line and they were delicious! I highly recommend this tour!”

“One of the best places in the area with a living history of rotary aircraft flight. There are literally dozens of aircraft on display including one of the first V-22 aircraft on static display. Great place to spend an afternoon learning about these wonderful inventions!”

“I recently attended a wedding here and it was just beautiful! The ceremony was outside as well as the cocktail portion, and the dinner and dancing took place in a large enclosed patio area. (It looked to me that the enclosure could be removed for other types of events and good/bad weather) The building is gorgeous. It's historic, so there's a shabby chic, rustic romantic vibe. Think strung up lights, purposefully mismatched chairs, a fire pit... just perfect for an intimate wedding. The food and service was excellent. The wait and bar staff were super friendly and personable. They made easy conversation and jokes with guests. Everyone seemed like they genuinely enjoy working there. I would definitely recommend having a celebration here!”

“Wonderful place and excellent tour. The pacing was nice so I felt like I got enough time to get a good look at things, but it kept things moving so that it never got boring. The house itself is a phenomenal work of art, as is everything inside of it.”
