“I've had 3 dogs over the past 20 years and we've used French Creek for all 3. Very caring about their clients and pet parents. They have a quiet kitty corner and special cat only appointment days for their feline patients. Depending on the service, they offer a senior discount. There have been times where the dog has gotten sick and they've been able to fit us in within the day of or the next day for an appointment. In fact, when possible they even encourage us to bring her in ASAP for the best care. She can get antsy in the exam room but they are extremely patient and never push her to do anything she doesn't want without trying another way. Our current dog has been coming to the Friendly Paws Daycare once a week for 4 years now, and she absolutely loves it. She comes home tired but happy from her multiple play sessions with staff members and her dog friends. They assign each camper to a play group based on personality compatibility types. They feed her lunch and treats that we pack at home and she's allowed to bring her favorite toy and blankets. While she's there, they get a "nap/rest" time to decompress and relax. Each day, they send her home with a "report card" detailing any potential health issues, behavior, and activities for the day. They even occasionally post photos on their Facebook account of the campers. Until just recently, they had only been able to board dogs with special needs but now they are licensed to board regardless of needs. Definitely make sure to call well in advance to reserve a spot at the inn if you're planning a vacation. One or two times, there have been campers diagnosed with kennel cough. The staff have been very transparent with pet parents in reporting incidents and temporarily closing the daycare to sanitize the facility (even if it means losing a few days of business). They also make sure campers are up-to-date with their vaccinations before they can come.”
