Our daughter was a part of the Berks East family for 11 years and recently retired from the sport after her high school graduation. During her time at Berks East, she trained with very dedicated coaches who worked with her at whatever level she was at. They were fair in the way they assessed her abilities and advanced her when it was time and worked harder when improvements were needed. They helped her through the highs and the lows and continued to keep her focused on her next set of goals. Gymnastics is more than athletics. This sport and her coaches have been instrumental in teaching her self confidence, perseverance, structure, discipline and teamwork which she will carry with her throughout life. In addition to being a member of the competition team, my daughter was also given the opportunity to coach young gymnasts at Berks East.
