“One of the most beautiful places in Lehigh Gorge. Beautiful falls. Hike to Falls is tough and extreme caution is recommended. Hiking trail is over stones are not paved. Look out for Orange arrow marks, it is easy to get lost. Walk up the hill under the bridge from parking which is about a mile from Falls. Love going here.”

“A fun family experience. My kids are 14 and we had no problem navigating the river. Guides were helpful and friendly.”

“I wanted to write this review because we were almost scared away from this trail by other reviews. Luckily we tried it and are so thankful we did. Listen, this trail can be very challenging at times. I consider myself in good shape but by no means an "experienced" hiker. We went on a rainy day with wet leaves on the ground. All I had was a pair of newer sneakers, jeans and a t-shirt. Yes, you will need to be very careful at some points and may need to use your hands to climb both up and down rocks. And yes it can certainly be very slippery and unforgiving if you do not pay attention. But no, you do not need to be an experienced hiker with fancy hiking boots. So use common sense, be careful and enjoy these amazing falls. As for how to get there: Drive all the way to the furthest parking lot in the D&L parking area. Walk down the stairs to the first warning sign, make a right go under the train tracks then another right up the trail next to the tracks. Follow this trail around until you reach a sign for the falls. Then go left( someone drew an arrow on the sign). Once you reach the water just follow it upwards, that simple. Note we turned around at the falls and exited how we came. Tip: if you reach a really steep part look closer to the water line there may be an easier (although still steep) way up. It took about 2 hours to the falls and back, going very slowly. Good luck!”
