“I've lived here for 3 years and why? It's a real community, you really get to know your neighbors, everyone is friendly, they watch out for each other. We have a great pool area, new deck was put on this year. New washers & dryers last year. The club house was renovated. Restrooms are being renovated right know. Management and staff really take care of us!”

Fair spouse and I enjoyed a comfortable, quiet time in this spacious, well furnished room and delightedly consumed a fine breakfast of tasty omelet, English muffins (with local pear butter), and fresh fruit. The room has a queen bed and a single; a chair and a couch; a table and chairs for dining; and a kitchenette. It's over a large garage, so separate from the main house and perfectly quiet. Why would you stay anywhere else?”

“We long talked about visiting the Willamette Valley in Oregon's wine country.This trip did not disappoint. We absolutely loved staying at Franziska Haus in Dundee Hills. So close to the wineries, vineyards, and restaurants, yet set in a quiet and serene location. Stunning gardens and patio and delicious breakfast each morning in the gorgeous Great Room with volume ceiling and fireplace. Brigitte and Clark could not have been nicer and so helpful with their recommendations. We stayed in Katharina's cottage which was so spacious & private with lovely views from the sitting area. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip.”

“Lafayette RV park has not done anything wrong or broken any laws in regards to Mr. Tripp's lies in his review. The space was rented Friday right before closing at 6 pm. His application was not received until Monday morning long after the space was rented. “Right after she got off the phone with me she called another person, and gave the spot to them. “ That is a flat out lie. Someone that was approved earlier in the week that had previously declined the space called right before closing at 6 pm and stated they changed their mind. Mr. Tripp had not yet submitted his application at that time. “as long as my application was approved I would have a place to live. “ Also a lie. He was never promised anything. What he was actually told & misinterpreted was that there was a space available at the time I spoke to him. Period. Said space was never promised to him. All spaces are 1st come 1st served. No exceptions. Application fees are never refundable. That is standard industry wide. That fee gets paid directly to the screening company and the property has no control over it. Yes, I hung up on him when he started yelling at me. I refuse to stay on the phone with an unreasonable person yelling at me.”

“Being a mobile home park the area is set up quite nicely. There's small yards (front and back) for each home for pets, kids, or just to garden. The community is nice and kid friendly. There's is a park here for kids as well along with a basket ball hoop to keep kids of all ages entertained. There's plenty of nearby places for quick food and gas. And for larger towns, you don't have to go to far to reach one.”

“Sue and Ralph are wonderful hosts. The home was super clean, we had a very spacious room, and the bed was super comfy. The home is located in a serene environment that is quite peaceful with great valley views. We especially loved the vineyard Q & A with Ralph. We would highly recommend this B & B. The B & B is close to the town of Carlton which has outstanding eateries - try Cuvee (say hello to Henry the owner) and Park & Main across the street - you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!”

“Visiting Abbey Road Farm is always a great experience. Their Christmas lights were beautiful, their wine is great, and their staff is friendly. My wife and I stayed in their silo hotel and it was also a memorable and fun experience. Huge props to their beekeeper! We bought some honey from Abbey Road Farms and it’s probably the best local honey I have tried! Definitely see if they have any of you visit.”

“If I could give Black Walnut 1000 stars, I would! The first word that comes to mind is WOW. Our stay at Black Walnut Vineyard was nothing short of amazing. The service is TOP NOTCH. Collin, especially, is the absolute best! He is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable on all things Willamette Valley. He provided recommendations to great wineries and restaurants. The entire staff is extremely friendly, and the word “no” is certainly not in their vocabulary. They even helped us package and ship our wine. And hats off to Chef Chase. His food is incredible! We could not wait to go to breakfast in the morning which was outstanding! The food is fresh and delicious. Even on our last day when Chef knew we wouldn’t be able to go to breakfast because we had to leave very early for the airport, he packed us up some of his amazing breakfast scones which we devoured at the airport! And if you have time to do dinner at Black Walnut, absolutely do it! We had the most spectacular meal with Chef Chase. The food was just the best. To top it all off, the grounds. Wow is Black Walnut a hidden gem. It is a Tuscan villa taken straight from Italy. The grounds are absolutely stunning. The views of the beautiful Dundee hills are spectacular. The property itself is great too. The main house is straight out of a Restoration Hardware catalog (literally). It’s beautifully decorated and there are plenty of things to do. You can lounge on one of the many patios, sit by the fire pits, play Corn Hole, or just simply open a bottle of wine and just sit to enjoy the view (with blankets provided if it’s chilly, of course). Our room was also so beautiful. We had a big comfortable bed and the room had all the amenities and more. Our favorite part of the room was the private patio with Adirondack chairs where we would sit and enjoy our wine each day. I cannot say enough good things about Black Walnut. They truly make you feel like family here. I always thought going to Oregon would be a one-time experience. However, after staying at Black Walnut, I am already wanting to plan to return and stay here because it was just that good.”

“This place was fantastic and the management was lively and rambunctious, speaking loudly to hard of hearing folks like myself. The accommodations were terrific. Pungent wholesome air which was excellent for my asthma, the scenery rustic with an earthy old time feel. The neighbors were fantastic and saved me long trips to the pharmacist, and party poopers who didn't fit in were rountinely sent packing so the small businesses weren't disrupted by yet another unanimous neighborhood amnesia episode that usually occurs when a molester is caught by everyone and it's always the one trying to be sneaky and report suspicious activity and the neighborhood always seems to catch the rabble rouser up to no good molestin' that popo would otherwise encounter the park's amnesia population that only becomes lucid when molesters need bouncin'”

“I have lived in this park for over 25 years. The current manager is very nice and very accessible. The park is clean and very quiet. The homes here are worth more now than they have ever been since I bought my home. The space rent is comparable to other parks in town...Still much cheaper than renting anywhere in Newberg!”
