I called first, then dropped off my Shun knife & KAI sewing shears for repair & sharpening. 2 days later, Alex Lee texted & told me they were ready. They are perfect, just like new. “I come here almost daily. Everyone I've encountered here has been super friendly. They remodeled the store, it is so nice!!! They have a huge selection of food, drinks and eight... 8! Different flavors of that ice drink Frazel? I'm spelling it wrong I'm sure but it is always clean in here and I love it. They have restrooms for customers only during the day but shut them off at night because of how Portland is. The gas is always good, is my one stop shop for alL my needs. Love this place! They have propane refill, air/water pump and a vac to clean it your car. Overall, def a 5 star”

“We go here first. They have everything. To name a few, we've picked up gear for 6-loaf-at-a-time bread making, pizzas, cheesecake, ... We've filled out our home kitchen with essentials: extra cutting boards, induction pans, baking sheets, hand tools, ... Prices cannot be beat. Example: kitchen scissors at 1/20th the cost of the boutique shop. Staff is thoughtful and attentive. Visiting Hong's is an experience!”

“Cute place. Friendly service. My buddy got this soup with pork broth and shrimp in it with ramen noodles. I couldn’t help but pester them to keep on taking spoon fulls of that delicious broth. I ordered lemongrass chicken thigh, it was good. Next time I would ask for just plain fish sauce with Thai chili peppers. The dipping sauce with it was a little sweet for me. I’m excited to go again be t time I’m in Oregon.”

I really appreciated how easy everything was compared to what I was expecting. They prepare you to rent. The book in the truck covered the few situations we had quickly. Overall I would recommend to others who want to get out and go.”
