“I found this park to be very safe and has lots of walking trails to enjoy. There is a dock along the Willamette River on the Southside of the park, playgrounds, soccer fields, baseball fields, and lots of restrooms spread throughout the large park. I really enjoyed the hiking trails though the old growth forest area of this park. I love how clean this park is and it is frequently patrolled.”

Wilsonville Tauchman House

Address: 31240 SW Boones Ferry Rd, Wilsonville, OR 97070, USA

Park

“I've convinced myself it's possibly haunted. I was at the park and it was deserted. No one parked anywhere, no maintenance workers anywhere around like they normally are. I was walking around the house's porches looking into the windows and just trying to kill some time. I turned away from the window and walked to the top step and sat down in the shade. Behind me, inside the house, I heard distinct footsteps on floorboards. About 6 steps that were distinctly loud. I got to my feet and stood there in silence trying to see if I could hear any other activity but that was it. I had to double-check to make sure I was alone...such a weird and cool experience.”

“We had a great visit at Tollen Farm. Tonie is so kind and welcoming. She introduced us to the mini donkeys and taught us many things about them. I had no idea a mini could be pregnant for 14 months! There's a very sweet pregnant mama there now, due in July. It was amazing to see and feel her belly full of baby. We also got to meet the rescue horses that live on the farm. Highly recommend visiting Tollen Farm! Just watch closely for the sign and turn to the farm, because it's easy to miss. Also, remember to leave a donation for the donkeys, because Tonie welcomes people to her farm and gives of her time for free. 💜”

“Unfortunately, we had to cancel our wedding due to COVID concerns just before Gov. Brown *rightfully* banned gatherings. It broke me in a million ways but our loved ones health was more important than our one selfish day of celebration. While I realize that I don't have any experience with this venue during or after an event, what I do have experience with is their kind, generous and human first approach to running the venue. I naturally ask 8432678 questions and Ahsamon was always so extremely helpful, kind and informative. I never once felt like my questions were too much or unwelcomed. She was so nice and I really appreciated her during an extremely stressful time. She was amazing and I cannot express enough how much I appreciate her direct yet compassionate approach. Director Mike was also extremely helpful in helping us in the venue process. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a slew of reasons *when we are able to safely get back to doing so.* Through COVID you truly see who cares about the people, about the humans and who cares more about profits and selfish gains. This venue cares about the people. Always choose people over profits. We are currently in a time where that is up for debate. Make your dollar count. Choose compassion.”
