Clarkes General Store & Eatery

Great place to eat off the beaten path. Good food, clean and cozy. Good place to sit and talk while enjoying a meal. I've also stopped in here on my way to hear and there to get snacks and the occasional groceries when not wanting to go all the way to town. The owner and staff are very welcoming people .

What a gem this place turned out to be excellent food in an interesting old building. I was pleasantly surprised at the food and the store. Did not expect this out in the country.

Good food, reasonable prices in restaurant. The staff are friendly. The layout of this place is pretty strange, being a store and restaurant, but the two are definitely separate. The store has lots of deli cases as well as shelves. The restaurant has a nice country atmosphere. They have an inviting bar inside it. There are 2 TVs and I think a Keno TV. They store their condiments and napkins in old sixpacks. There's a video lottery room as well. I noticed their special was only 50 cents cheaper than the normal price, but oh well
