“In the beginning when I first started going there it was in a horrible place meaning it was run down, damn near every shelf was empty, all boxes, crates and pullies were in the middle of the aisles with everything still wrapped and boxed up,half on the floors or walking out the door without a worry in the world and discombobulated to the max! I felt bad seeing a different employee every other day! It gradually started to get people in there that truly cared about the company, the store and the customers! In a couple of months later after not going there for a while one day walked in and was breathless and proud at how far they have come! The store looked amazing and I couldn't do anything but give them props and thank them! One of the workers said that was the best thing she's heard since she's been there and that made her feel good! First because it was acknowledged and second it was appreciated! The reason why I'm on here giving a review is because I was submitting an application for this particular store and got lost and decided to give my personal thoughts! I wish I could get my app in and hope for a possible interview and employment! Go DG awesome work and amazing genuine employees! I would love to be a part of that crew! We were in and out less than 10 minutes less traffic less number of individuals made it a good 👍 trip.”

“I went through Drive Thru this morning. The young lady was very kind, sweet and upbeat! Made my day, as I drove away. I had went there, straight from the doctor (a 2 minute drive) and I’d forgotten it generally takes more than 2 minutes to fill a prescription. We got my new insurance updated and I went to Braums for breakfast while waiting for the prescription to be filled. After about 19 minutes, I received a text that my prescriptions were ready. I finished up my Braums California Chipotle Breakfast Burrito (with guacamole) and headed back to Walgreens. The same delightful young lady was there, and remembered my name! But, alas I’d forgotten her name (along with my own). Thank you for your cheerfulness, it is more healing than the medication I purchased.”

The have the best prices on cheap cigarettes, and Memaw, the night shift lady is the nicest store clerk I've ever met. They have decent prices on gas and everything you could possibly need in the way of smoking or toking supplies.”

Gift bags, cards, kids toys, diapers, milk, soup, bread, drinks, chips, ice cream etc. The store is usually clean and stocked fairly well. My only complaint is they normally only have one cashier. Which wouldn't be a big deal but when the line is 5-7 people deep it's annoying.”

“I am not a fan of Dollar General as a whole nor overly fond of this location in particular. I often drive out of my way to avoid it but visit by necessity on occasion given its proximity to the somewhat rural location of our home. However, this location has one thing going for it and that is an employee by the name of Roman. Roman stands out like a shining light in his environment. He is always smiling and engaging. He is thoughtful in offering help like locating merchandise or bagging items with ultimate regard and consideration for the customer. He makes the experience smoother and more pleasant for everyone he encounters - I’ve observed this every time he is on site. I believe his talents are being wasted in his current role and firmly believe he would be an outstanding addition and asset to any organization smart enough to hire him. “Today at 9:36 am my husband went in the station and paid for some monsters and gas. He realized 30 mins later that he didn’t ever pump the gas. So he called up there immediately and the awesome blonde woman working said she had saw him pull away and noticed he never pumped the gas so she credited his card with the money already. I just wanted to leave a review to say that is so awesome and I was so pleased with that! Not only did they give him the gas back I was very impressed that she was paying such good attention that she noticed before us. She was so kind on the phone when we called I wish I knew her name but I don’t. It was Thursday May 5th at 9:36 am and a blonde woman! “I had previously written a very poor review of this location and contacted corporate to complain about various issues I had with the store. I'm happy to say that I now feel comfortable changing my review score, and review, to reflect the changes the store manager made to fix all that was wrong with it before. The store has done a complete 180 and I no longer have the issues I once did. They're all quite friendly (save for one gentleman who has resting ***** face) and very helpful. While there was some tension after my complaints to corporate, and I could tell that corporate did intervene, over time, they have let it go, as have I. I now recommend this store. They're like a completely new team, thanks to the changes made by the store manager.”
