“While Grand Rapids, OH may not be high on a lot of people’s list of vacation getaways, The Mill House Bed and Breakfast is a gem that should not be passed up, and deserves at least a one-night stay by anyone passing through that little town. The proprietors are warm and welcoming and informative about their establishment and the surrounding sites, attractions, and restaurants. The accommodations are rustic (it’s a converted grist mill) but comfortable (even in hottest July) and charming. As we settled in, we were treated to delicious, complimentary scones as well as coffee and some convenient snacks. In our experience, the other guests were representative of the type of customer described in Mill House mission statement, which made for a quiet and friendly stay. Breakfast conversation with the other guests was very enjoyable. We plan to return for a longer stay sometime in the coming year.”

“Would have been 5 stars if the customer service was a bit better. We just got driving 12 hours on day 3 of a coast to coast move. We were tired and ready to sleep. She kept telling us and asking us not to smoke in the room. We are good people and have no problem smoking outdoors. Smiling goes a long way as well....she never smiled at all. She was not rude, but not very hospitable. The room itself was clean and nice. It was better than expected for the price.”

Soooo incredibly relaxing — especially the hot tub! Bob and Cathy were so kind and personable, it felt like I’d known them my entire life! “The front desk staff was very accommodating, friendly, and professional; without being "stuffy". If you stay there for awhile, you will find that most of the other long-term residents are great and considerate neighbors. Even though the local police regularly patrol the area, you'll discover that the community is mostly self-policing. The cleaning staff is friendly and thorough, and they will respond to special requests. However, if you have pets you'll need to remove your pet from the room if you want housekeeping. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!”

“Incredible and amazing for a 3-star hotel! There is everything you could want in good condition. Working air condition, private (attached) restroom, up to date T.V. with streaming services, a gym, places to get food, pools, a bunch of nearby stores, and close to the Disney parks, all for a cheap price! A tour company booked this hotel for us and I was surprised to find out it was only 3-stars! Did not have any issues and really liked it. Will definitely come again on my next trip to Orlando and the parks.”
