“Very nice selection of books for such a small size town. The staff is very nice and helpful in finding what you are looking for. It is part of the larger Wood County Public Library District so if they do not have the item you are trying to locate they are helpful in trying to find the item or a similar item from part of the library network. The size of the library is quite drastically different than the libraries when I lived in New York City but it is very nice for the size it is.”

“Wonderful small town library overlooking a majestic waterfall and with a wonderful view of the world renowned Tyglasokamunga Mountain. The staff are friendly and the chef makes a great empanada. Their beer section is lacking generic brands but it is made up for by the freshly brewed mixture made in house. Upon entering it is local custom to remove ones shoes and socks and to inflict 40 lashes upon your own back, for this is sacred ground. My only complaint is the rollercoaster broke down and it took a total of 4 minutes for maintenance to arrive and fix it to the well done steak I ordered.”

“It is always a pleasure to drop by the Grand Rapids, Ohio library. They are friendly and very helpful. They do something no other library has ever done and that is give me a telephone call when the books I ask for come in. Also, the emails to remind me that things are coming close to being due. This is extremely helpful to me. . .that reminder. They manage to get almost 100 percent of the books I request. They surpass my expectations. Thanks for this very very special American tradition, the public libraries.”
