Wood County Museum

This was a fantastic place to go ...I am from Bowling Green Ohio and came back for a visit I wish the museum would have been open but it was closed I hope to come back again and tour the inside

Beautiful grounds to stretch your legs.
Self directed outside tour was interesting. Main building was closed at the time of our visit.

You have to see this place! It's amazing! The current WEDDING DRESS EXHIBIT is outstanding! Our guide was the BEST EVER! Don't miss your chance to see these beautiful dresses accompanied by photos and stories of who wore them...quite romantic! There are rooms and rooms of dresses and stories. Even the history of THE WEDDING VEIL...very interesting. Don't miss this. We went for our 37th Wedding Anniversary...very special indeed!

Interesting exhibitions. 3 hours wasn't enough. In addition to the museum, they have many things on the grounds to see, like a garden, old farming implements, and even an oil derrick.

Always a good visit! It's so cool to see the history from Wood County and all over Ohio! You can do self guides tours through the main house and read all about the past! The grounds are open during daylight hours and has even more history to explore!
