“We really enjoyed our 1st experience at this simple but cozy campground. I'm so familiar with bigger state park ran campground so I was unsure of how it would go with a smaller family owned campground. Unfortunately it had rained quite a bit before we had arrived and that is completely out of the owners control. When we arrived we were told that our campsite was submerged in water but they did not hesitate to find us another location to set up for the night. (I wouldn't expect this at a state park campground because it's usually a get what you get situation) It was a very small corner that didn't really look like a campsite but luckily it was just the 2 of us and we are pretty flexible people. They even found us a fire ring and brought it over. It definitely added to our adventure and they even let us use the electric box next to it even though we had a primitive site originally. The lady was working super hard to accommodate the requests of every person on the campground. It seemed like she was the only staff onsite and she was a very patient lady. We would like to come back for the customer service alone. Thank you for the memories!”

“We loved Two Trees! Everything was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was so well organized with labels as to where everything gets put away. The rec/game room with pool table was a lot of fun. We used the high top table to play cards. We loved the large dining table to fit all of our friends for our "Friends-giving" get together. We really enjoyed the enormous deck, hot tub, fire pit and beautiful surroundings. The firewood supply is a pretty good deal for $50 (downside is its incredibly dry so it burns up super fast and we used every bit of it). We had trouble figuring out the outside lights. Some were motion sensor but I think others weren't and couldn't figure out how to turn them off when we left. The gas fireplace would oddly shut off and then come back on by itself (possessed? 🤔). Also couldn't figure out the thermostat and it was really warm upstairs in the bedrooms. I failed to read reviews to realize the ladder/stair going to the big bedroom was the only way up there so we had to give that room to the youngsters. Overall we loved this cabin and would definitely stay again.”

“Great staff. Hands down outstanding! Made sure we were comfortable and very knowledgable about the area. We stayed in the upper campground.. the first few photos. The basic electric sites are close together. Like TIGHT. We paid $37.10 for one night. We were the only ones there. So it didn't matter. The lower campground is marked. Be careful staying down there in wet weather... it's mud path and you can get stuck. Bath house is on the hill..all individual. No sharing.. clean. Nice. There's a pool.. putt putt, go carts, and kayak and canoe adventures. Also small cabins. All new picnic tables this year. Nice place. Honestly.”

“My wife and I had an awesome time spending the weekend in this cabin with family and friends … We were here in late February. The cabin was very nice, warm, cozy and comfortable. Despite being a three story log cabin (due to the presence of a finished basement), the temperature was comfortable throughout; especially with the fireplace burning and the ceiling fan recirculating the heat back down to the first floor. The amenities were all perfect, and the hot tub was wonderful. The pool table provided a lot of entertainment as well. The nights were nice and dark and quiet, and conducive to good sleeping. There were a couple of blemishes in the cabin that we were aware of, and had to take note of them, just to ensure that we were not blamed and charged for them (see photos).”

“The owners are putting so much work into this place and it really shows! Bathrooms and facilities are updated and comfortable to use, and there’s plenty of space at each site. On top of that, they are kind and welcoming, and the area is perfect. Lots of trails for horses, central to a lot of the Hocking Hills hikes, and between two cute little towns with plenty of mom and pop restaurants to eat at. This place is a gem and I’m so glad we stayed!”

“We rented a A frame cabin for a mini honeymoon,we absolutely loved everything about the cable and then our surroundings,was absolutely beautiful,i.woke up and was at peace out on the back deck having my coffee and listening to all the sweet songs of nature! At first we thought,yea a Lil pricey,but given its the summer season,was well worth every penny we spent! We will definitely be back for another and hopefully longer stay! “Great place for a grown up getaway! Not a place I would take little ones if you don’t plan on heavily supervising to keep them from getting into stuff/redecorating. We had a good time with family, well decorated for the holiday. Mood was set well with music lightly playing upon arrival. Lots of little note cards in important places around the cabin letting you know how to operate equipment. I was not directly involved with check-in/out process but was under the impression that there was mention of fees for this that and the other, making the whole process a little scary for the person in charge, they were in fear for their wallet. We would visit again for sure!”

“I rented Freedom Lodge for a 3 day weekend for our Employee Retreat. The cabin is immaculate and well stocked with everything we could have needed. Belinda was very kind when we arrived to do our walk through and thoroughly explained the home and grounds. We had 18 in our group and there was so much room to spread out and do your own thing and the common spaces are large enough to all come together and socialize. The pool and hot tub area is very nice. The furnishings are all very comfortable as well as the beds. Lots of towels and plenty of dishes. Pots and pans, wine glasses etc. Everything we could have needed. There are 2 fire areas outside with plenty of seating . The decks all around are spectacular with wonderful composite outdoor furniture. There are large TVs in every room and the game room was a big hit. We will definitely be renting again. Secluded and quiet. We loved it.”

“Beautiful and peaceful setting. We checked in after a hike in Hocking Hills and it was so nice at the B&B, we canceled our Next hike to further enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Manner overlooking Lake Logan. We saw deer, an eagle, and other water fowl. We then ordered Pizza-crossing at suggestion of the owner and had a fire pit and a great evening. The next morning they served us a wonderful breakfast and we heard interesting stories from the owner. We would come again.”

“Timber View Lodge was fantastic! It has 4 bedrooms, two baths, a living room with fireplace, and a great room that includes the kitchen. It easily slept the 13 in our family, but it could probably sleep more. It has a pool and a hot tub that are serviced daily. Everything felt very clean and updated. Thanks for a great visit!”
