“I recently spent two weeks at Madeira Healthcare Center for rehab after a hospital stay. Overall my stay was positive. It took me a while to understand the dynamics as the staff has longer term dialysis patients which require priority attention. I developed a routine that worked well with this. The staff was acceptable to stellar depending on who was on duty. Healthcare staffing is an issue everywhere and was very apparent during my Bethesda North hospital experience. I found the Madeira Healthcare Center therapists extremely friendly and helpful. Nurse Gwen is a rock star, taking care of all the various tubes that were going into me and answering all of our questions. The food was probably the weakest aspect of my stay. This is not speaking for the long term residents that can go to common dining area but on the second floor rehab the food was at times cold and not the freshest when it got to the room. The administration worked to get me home as soon as possible. Thank you.”

“This is a nice, large facility, with well-lit, air conditioned, indoor courts. A family member had their high school tennis match at this location. The courts are situated below the observation area, giving observers a birds eye view of the games. The lounge includes couches, chairs, a video game, TV, and tennis shop. They did not appear to have any concessions or vending machines. They did have free Wi-Fi, which helped keep the younger kids entertained while the adults watched the tennis matches.”

“If Joanna Gaines ever opened a salon this would be it. It's absolutely gorgeous inside and instantly relaxing. The staff is friendly and accommodating with any last minute appointments. They have a large selection of polish and powder dip colors. Prices are comparable to other similar salons. I also appreciated the amount of parking around back. I have been twice and had a good experience both times. I can't wait to go back.”
