“This was the first time we had been year and we loved it. Our food came out quickly and was so good. My boyfriend had a burger and I have a dish that had cheesy smashed potatoes, pulled pork and a barbecue sauce. We also ordered the Apple slaw because we wanted to try it. Everything was great. We ordered dessert because they sounded good. The Apple cake was fabulous and it had ice cream with Apple topping on it!! We will be back soon!!”

“Excellent Philly beef steak with spicy cheese sauce with extra onions because I don't like mushrooms, served with fresh hot fries. It was very hearty and meaty - no skimping here! The lemonade was good too - not overly sweet - just right! ? I was totally happy and satisfied. Ambience was very nice. Nice family and social atmosphere. My first visit was great! Quincie - waitress, provided outstanding courteous customer service. I tipped accordingly. Great job Quincie! ? I enjoyed my real deal Philly meal and experience at Shades on the Canal. “My boyfriend and I were exploring this town we’d never been to after going for a walk in the metro park down the road. We literally stumbled across Little Italy’s storefront and walked in following the delicious scent. We fell in love with this charming, authentic experience. We ordered the mozzarella sticks to start and they were hot, crispy, and very cheesy(with a fantastic melted pull). My boyfriend got the meatball sub and I got the Fettuccine El Forno based on our waiters’ recommendation. Everything was delicious and most of the contents are homemade!! Specifically the pasta, sauce, salad dressing, and meatballs. Anything else would be a guess on my part but I wouldn’t be shocked it was so good. Our waiter was kind, attentive, and didn’t hesitate to answer our questions. Also, they kindly enforced the use of masks and blocked off tables to help customers maintain a safe distance while still offering seating for larger parties. Everything was very clean, including the restrooms. We are both Italians from the northern east coast and we look forward to venturing back to try more off their reasonably priced menu. Thanks for a great end to our day adventure!”
