“There is a lot more to being a police officer than writing traffic tickets. Those giving 1 star reviews were doing something in the wrong and got caught and are upset about it. The negative reviews don't reflect the station or police and staff as a whole. Yes it sucks to get a ticket and sometimes it seems like a cheap shot but at the end of the day be thankful we have really amazing men and women working for us in the Valley. Without going into personal details, when a call went to dispatch for help the Valley View police responded and were at the scene in less than 5 minutes. Every officer and policeman who I spoke with was very caring, concerned and clearly had training in handling tough situations. They didn't just throw regulation or follow the books. They were compassionate and did what you would hope a police officer should do. Thank you to all of the Valley View Police and dispatch team.”

“I am a Gramma who went to pick up my grandkids from Columbus yesterday. My aunt had taken me so, when it came time to remove the car seats (which my son-in-law had put into her car) to put them into my car, I had such a hard time and was unable to do it. So my aunt had to pick up the kids and we drove to the station to ask for help. Now, we were a few embarrassed Gramma's, but Damon (one of the firefighters), did not make us feel like fools at all. He installed the car seats for me and was very pleasant and nice about the whole issue. He spoke to my granddaughter, who was before this afraid of anyone in uniform, and now the fireman was the nicest person in the whole world. “I had a great experience here with Dion Hicks. He helped me and my partner pick out our new bed. He was the most knowledge person about mattresses and sleep. I was really impressed by how well he explained the different types of mattresses to us and he took his time to show us all the different types. He even gave us a demonstration on the bed we decided to get where he showed us the different positions and put us in the zero gravity mode which I really liked. He was also clear with pricing which was really helpful. I can’t wait to have my new bed!”
