Village Green Park

Address: 301 Wessel Dr, Fairfield, OH 45014, USA

Park

“Beautiful park that’s easy to spend the entire afternoon at. Easy to get to and park. Surrounded by fun amenities for those with kids. For example, we spent the morning at the park, ate at the amphitheater, explored the library. Could’ve easily gone out to lunch or ice cream. All activities are within walking distance. Park was mostly fenced in however two openings to the other spaces and some areas were very close to the road. Clean restrooms are also on site.”

Oakwood Park

Address: 2 Jupiter Ct, Fairfield, OH 45014, USA

Park

“This is a small, hidden park with a path that reaches behind some houses in the back of two subdivisions. Not a destination worth driving to because it doesn't have all the things the bigger parks have, but it's good for a walk and for kids to play if you happen to live in walking distance.”

Lions Park

Address: Fairfield, OH 45014, USA

Park

“New playground, paved walking path, refurbished covered picnic area. Big field to play Frisbee, walk your dog, play any sport including tennis. In a quiet neighborhood.”

Fairfield Aquatic Center

Address: 2605 Augusta Boulevard, Fairfield, OH 45014, USA

Park

“Everyone who works there is friendly, especially the young woman with the braids, and I really enjoyed this pool. She speaks softly and with great respect. She always makes me feel welcome when I visit this pool. Her grin is friendly and contagious, like how good workers should be. Contrarily, the manager is not as friendly as the staff, albeit this didn't have a huge impact on my visit. 4/5 Stars”

Joyce Park

Address: 25 Joe Nuxhall Way, Fairfield, OH 45014, USA

Park

“Always enjoy coming to Joyce Park! We have been having family gatherings here since I was a kid. Shelters used to be free to use, now reservations are needed and they also charge a fee. I rented the F.O.P. lodge out for my son's graduation party it was very nice. It is also located at Joyce park. The park also has an area for people to fly remote control planes, so from time to time you might get a small airshow!”

Founders Park

Address: 756 Hicks Blvd, Fairfield, OH 45014, USA

Park

“A very quite walk or run or bike ride. A paved trail thats pretty wide and accommodating for hikers and bikers at the same time. A lively creek runs along the trail putting you real close to nature, actually surprised at how much wildlife i did see, with being so close to main roads and a developing city in all. Got to see a blue herring but couldn't snap a photo. Rarely do see them in fairfield but they are indeed here, have seen them in and around some of the larger bodies of water in fairfield. Pretty relaxing Park/Trail.”

Huffman Park

Address: 2100 John Gray Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014, USA

Park

“Nice little park, well kept. Good for a picnic lunch. There are a few little things for kids to play on, but it's not the kind of place you take the kids to just to play. There are nice paths for walking or biking. It could use a few more benches, especially in places that are shady in the afternoon, as the benches are in the sunlight, and sometimes you need to rest on the way back up the hill.”

“My little sisters love it when i take them here they have so much fun each time and its close to home in a great neighborhood so it always feels safe. There is a baseball area, a pace of grass for pets to roam, the playground is very colorful. The swingset includes a special swing for people who want to swing with their child in front of them. There is benches for a party with grills. Water fountain needs fixed but other than that it is very fun and we love the spinny thing lol.”

Point Pleasant Park

“Nice level half-mile walking trail. Good for a cloudy cool day. Not recommended for a hot sunny day as it's not shaded. There is a picnic shelter with one table if you're looking for a outdoor setting to meet with friends and maintain social distancing.”

Furfield Dog Park

Address: 6611 River Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014, USA

Park

“Great and spacious area for people to be socially distant, and there is PLENTY of room for dogs to run around. It's even better that there is 4 fields that dog owners can choose from. The pool in the middle, with the diving platform, is a great idea for dogs to have fun with. Although it was drained when I went, I can't wait to take my dog back!”

Thomas O. Marsh Park

Address: 6440 River Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014, USA

Park Store

“Oh My God! Me and my father fish here and find some big blue gil occastionnally, but still there are alot of very good and big fish in the water! I love this lake, I don't like the long walks but ill take it if it means i can leave with either a good time or big/small fish. I would recommend fishing here, you just have to be at the lake at certain seasons, and the service the people that work there are very nice and kind to my family.”

Hunts Mills Museum

Address: 27 Hunts Mill Rd, Rumford, RI 02916, USA

Park Car repair

“Today I took the girls there again and we walked a bit of the trails. Last few times, a few ticks. Today 16 so far. Mostly all deer ticks. Not sure if it's the park or the trails or both... The dog park is great. Quiet clean and lots of space. We added a bowl, water and some toys. But loaded with ticks on the trails. The dogs each had one tick on them and my hubby had two. And all three had the proper protection. I didn't have spray on. No ticks on me. Got lucky? Also near the waterfalls, there are a few large rocks with names and dates carved into the rocks. They are over 100 years old. This place is historic and a great place to explore.”
