“My shih tzu, Lupita, needed emergency eye surgery over Thanksgiving. NC State had an ophthalmologist on call- Dr. Stonex- and my pup was able to get surgery within hours of her being admitted. The surgery was a success and I brought my baby home the next day. I don’t know what I would have done had they not been open. The staff was very helpful and very nice. Highly recommend NC State Vet School!”

I found this one several years ago, and my kids cannot wait to go every time they are tracked out. What camp do your kids ask you to go early and pick them up as late as possible? The teachers have hearts of gold, the whole concept of getting their parts, learning their lines, making their costumes and decorating the set...it is genius. The Friday night play is always a highlight, thank you for all that you do and making our kids LOVE to attend. Best camp in Raleigh!!!”

“I had an appointment with the dermatology department for my dog Bella. Scott (a 4th year Vet student) met with me outside to discuss the issue. He assured me they would evaluate and come up with a treatment plan. Within an hour, I received a call from Dr. Spriggs to discuss her findings and treatment plan going forward. When I went back to pick up Bella, they both came out to explain in detail what would be best for Bella and to answer any questions I may have had. I can not thank them enough for being so kind and caring while treating Bella. She's a very anxious dog and does not do well when her routine is disrupted.”

“We really loved our experience here! Our bearded dragon had prolapsed (which for those of you who don't know isn't common for a bearded dragon but it isn't incredibly uncommon especially in older bearded dragons) and needed medical attention very soon before it died. We brought her here and they called and kept us updated with everything they would like to do. They kept our bearded dragon comfortable the whole time and provided us with great information for future care. We will definitely be bringing our future animals here, especially if that means that it can help veterinarians lean how to treat not so common animals! This whole experience was great even with COVID restrictions.”

“I love my school. As an adult student of 3 years here, I can say that Northern Campus is probably the best campus with the most resources. Everything is new and modern. They have a food pantry for students in need, which is a wonderful service. The library is spacious. Computer labs always working. As a member of the Fall class of 2020, I am proud to be a Wake Tech Eagle! It’s never too late to get your college degree. I’m 36 years old and can promise you that the joy and pride you feel when you finish is so worth it. Invest in your future and in yourself. Affordable education at a beautiful campus! Only con is that the bookstore rarely buys textbooks back. I’ve never seen my assigned advisor once. They never return your emails. That is my only real gripe. I had to set up my schedules myself as best as I could without their assistance.”

It seems like the faculty have the right priorities: I could tell they care about the students, they focus on practical applications, and they've done a great job marketing the program to employers. It was nice to hear them preaching practical business applications over theoretical BS.”
