(When I was first diagnosed, I saw a different rheumatologist in Cary whom I found to be completely unsatisfactory, and changed to Dr.Agha within several visits.) Since I was newly diagnosed, he started me on a regimen of care that has kept me going for the past 7 years. The office staff are kind, caring and efficient and quick to respond to my needs. Sometimes there is a wait in the office, but only because Dr. Agha takes the time with every patient to answer their questions and to explain treatment options. I always know that when it's my time to see him, I will not be rushed out of his office to make way for the next patient. “I had visited this place with my wife for one of the ultrasound scans. I did not face any issues as the staff was very cool and she explained the procedure and scanned gently and thoroughly. Only disappointing part was the entrance desk, though we had our appointment at some time we were called for checkup after 15 minutes than our planned time else we had good experience Note: You might get confused at the entrance down as there are parking lots in front of entrance and you cannot find it easily”

“After a referral for a minor issue, Dr. Gupta has completely changed my life-no exaggeration. Like all of my doctor visits before, he asked "Wow, you are only 26 and have severe sleep apnea?" Unlike every other doctor visit though, he quickly realized there were MAJOR problems. A severely deviated septum/uvula twice as long as it should be, both severely blocking airflow. During the scheduled surgery Dr. Gupta's expertise did not stop. Instead of just going in on autopilot to do a surgery I'm sure he has done hundreds of times before, he took time to diagnose an additional major issue. The only way my airway was getting adequate airflow was to be propped open. After surgery, I was referred me to UNC Dental School for maxillofacial surgery. 2 years after my first visit with Dr. Gupta-no more CPAP, no more napping, no more exhaustion, no more trying to simply get through the day to get to bed. I have more energy, sleep great, and enjoy life. Dr. Gupta changed my life, thank you!”

I know it's frustrating, but let me help you put it in perspective: The doctors also see patients, like myself, with diagnoses of life-threatening skin cancer. When we are referred for concerning spots and/or biopsies, we are usually seen quickly and treated with the utmost care. This place literally saved my life. If your biggest complaint is that you had to wait for itch cream, I would say you have it pretty good.”
