“Great place right off the highway! We stopped here for one night on our way from Michigan to Myrtle Beach and it met our needs! We stayed on the full hook ups up front so I can't comment on the bath house. Great views of Pilot Mountain! Owner was extremely helpful and friendly! The campground dogs were a treat as well!”

The weather: beautiful, the venue: beautiful, the accommodations: beautiful, the food: delicious (we got so many compliments on it). I love that you are able to choose between the two venues which one you prefer! Daniel was more than helpful in answering his cell and email answering all of our questions and allowing us to use the buildings as we needed in any shape. We used all three cabins as well as the Lodge Rooms and that was an AMAZING feature of this venue. I have a very large family and the Red Cabin and the Hanging Rock Cabin were used for them and the groomsmen stayed overnight at the Green Cabin! They loved it! My favorite feature though, was the Bridal Suite. It was very spacious and accommodated me and my large party. However, I believe if the bride and let's say 6-7 other bridesmaids were to get ready in there, it would be a little cramped. It also wasn't that amazing to have to share the bathroom with the guests that were trickling in after a long drive that saw me pre-ceremony. But overall, that is the only small criticism I have! The pictures I attached hopefully show you the potential that Luna's Trail has to offer.”

“Took my 13 year old son up here for the weekend. I’ve been wanting to check it out for some time, and the entire experience was even better than I expected. Lane runs a chill, mellow, festival - community vibe space. He was always just an email away, and spent plenty of time hanging around to make sure my kiddo and I were well taken care of. The longer river float was one of the most peaceful days spent on a river (okay - minus the appalachiarantulas lol) and the spot we camped, just on the other side of the river, was quiet and calm. Lane took plenty of time to make sure we had everything we needed, including safe places to camp and chill, dinner recommendations, and some great conversation. If you’re looking for a grassroots place to truly relax away from the hustle of state park camping, you’ve got to check this place out. We will definitely head back up to hopefully enjoy some midsummer tunes, maybe some yoga with a new yoga friend (Alicia everywhere we go, there we are!) and overall tap into the mellow nature that surrounds the land and the spirit of Jessup Mill. “Views of Moore's Knob are second to none. It's convenient to Hanging Rock State Park. Staying in one of their cozy cabins is "glamping" at it's best. The host and hostess are friendly and helpful. There's a general store between the cabins and the park. There's no light pollution or traffic noise. We had a six-point buck wander past our cabin. Just beautiful.”

“I had the pleasure to tour during one of their open house weekends. It's currently maintained by the Friends of Sauratown Mountains. They shared it's history with us and there was an informative video at the start. It was fascinating to tour it as is and try to imagine it in its original glory. Apparently, next year they're doing badly needed renovations so I hope to come back in the future to see the work. Beware, if you go in the summer, it's very hot inside and out! The hike to the mineral water house isn't too hard, but it is a walk down and hence, up hill on the way back, plus can be buggy in the summer (be prepared). It's hard to see the dam and water wheel through the vegetation in the summer too.”

The food was delicious the staff is very polite and accommodating and truthfully the prices are very reasonable.
