“The guys at the Eubanks Road Solid Waste Convenience Center are always courteous and helpful when I have a question for them. I have not experienced rudeness as some others on here have posted. If you take a moment to greet them each time you go, they soon recognize you and greet you in return. I think they do a great job, considering the extreme temperatures they work in and the smell, as well as dealing with patrons who get angry at them just for doing their job.”

The Cooperative Extension service is in a brand new building and the Master Gardener team is busily building the soil and will be installing many demonstration gardens. “Relaxing... edit: Unless it's Saturday.... Mon-Fri you can come here for all sorts of activities and information. The women who work here Mon-Fri are kind and helpful and informative, and will guide you towards areas of interest onsite and off. However the lady who works here on Saturday will treat you as if you need a hall pass to enter, and will question you beyond the point of impolite to rudeness on where you are going and for what reason, with that tone. Perhaps she was a guard in the penile system before working here? Today when I enetered she told me a man was in the bathroom, and I did not really need nor desire this information. I am not sure why she questions people like she does or why she tells other people what you are doing, I find it odd.”

“Those who have read my critique's know I use public transit a lot. The OPT(Orange County Public Transit) system is one of my favorites. For the time being it is a limited service, but they are working on increasing their capabilities. They offer a local service to Hillsborough, and they offer two commuter services to Chapel Hill, and Mebane. The commuter services are called Connectors. For the two years I have used OPT; they have proven to be dependable, friendly, knowledgeable, safe, and now I can add honest. On 5/21/19, I left some valuable items lying on the seat of the Chapel Hill connector. The driver, Ms Valinda Lucas, found those valuables and turned them in. I am forever grateful. The drivers are the ambassadors too OPT. My advice, for those who don't drive, call the OPT facility, learn the routes. You might be amazed.”
