“My 15 year old son takes chess class here and also plays tournaments here. He absolutely loves it! His instructors are very kind and knowledgeable. He often has an expert review his tournament matches afterwards to learn more tips and strategies. The assignments are very motivating for him. Each time he completes his homework of 100 online puzzles he gets a new little token. They do a great job at awarding achievements. There is a lot of detail involved in recording tournament scores and keeping track of enrollment, etc. it’s very impressive how easy it is to register and look up the leaderboard. Every time I’ve had a question, the staff is very prompt in responding to me. Sarah especially has answered the most of my questions. Highly recommend Charlotte Chess Center!”

“I must say that my kids experience is totally different from the previous school they attended which was a charter school also. But SCSA has amazing teachers. At first I was skeptical for my kids to leave their friends behind from the other school, but I had to think about there education first. They have met amazing friends and now their friends from their previous school now attends SCSA. All I can say is “SCSA has to be doing something right, because it’s growing more and more with students around Charlotte. Might need to build SCSA Building 2 soon to accommodate our growing school.My children said that this is the best school ever”

“We are thrilled to have our daughter at kids r kids. Our teachers have been very welcoming and fun. The owners and director know all the kids and parents by name. Everyone treats you like family and is very welcoming. We were concerned my daughter might have a lactose intolerance and their director immediately changed her dietary plan so she could still eat all meals at school without providing additional stress on us. They have great allergy protocols and make the process simple. We had been at other facilities before and our food allergies were not treated half as well as they were here. We highly recommend this facility to anyone. The staff and owners are fantastic.”

She is so nice I love her she is the best but Mrs Austin is mean but I didn't want her as my third grade teacher so fewww she's not my third grade teacher I'm glad so I like Mrs Dalesandro better she's the first ones at lunch and ms Austin is last so I prefer Mrs Dalesandro better.”

From an open cafeteria, to a Dance classroom with a padded floor, a Build classroom complete with 3D printer, two gyms - elementary & middle. My child’s teacher goes above and beyond to make sure we are on the same page and keeps me informed at all times. My child has asthma so this is something that I appreciate so much. The owner of the center, Mrs. Lois is just the best!!! They are understanding and kind. “We loved this place so much. Our four year old daughter started since the place opened, and she definitely enjoyed herself every single day at Oakcrest. We see her grows and making a lot progress. She makes a lot friends and love her teacher so much. Our 3 year old son started when he was 2, similar to his sister, he is happy and enjoying playing with his little school buddies. We strongly recommend the school because of the great teachers, good leadership team, and helpful stuffs, what’s more? Our little ones grow and making good progress everyday. “Don't think twice about working with Alex - she is simply the best & so bubbly & fun to work with!!! Alex truly helped us prepare for our first dance with a classic, slow, & romantic dance. We wanted to take dance lessons because my husband and I are rusty dancers so naturally we were nervous about dancing in front of our friends & family. However, after only 4 dance lessons with Alex we felt like complete pros and were at total ease. Now she's almost 2 and is attempting forward rolls on her own and can hang and swing from the bars.
