(July 23, 2018, 12:17 pm)Elevation UMC is the place for me. Some 40 years ago, my now wife took me home to meet her parents. On that weekend Sunday we went to church, of course, about a mile down the road. As I was being greeted so welcomingly by the members in attendance I felt like I had come home. After Patsy later accepted my proposal in marriage and I finished my Army career, we moved back to the farm in North Carolina, settled, raised a family, and meet God again down the road about a mile. Up on the hill, some say, being the highest point in Johnston County. I love Love’s home! Some say there are records showing services there around 1861! Hummm...
